If I have missed the point, it is because of your  failure to communicate any point. Because communication is between no fewer than two entities, & nobody around here other than you seems to understand you.

in " The Gulag Archipelago"... Solzhenitsyn asks "how can you expect
a man who's warm to understand a man who's cold?" But you will find it's you no one understands. "how can you expect a man that walks in darkness of mind and spirit to understand a man that walks in light?" A dry desert in juxtaposition to a peach grove? The creative psyche to the anarchic? My motivation is oh so plain. <_<

Deep Cybotron, very deep... This time what you mean is very clear ;)
But maybe you are the one in the dark :o How can you be sure who is in the light and you is in the dark? :D

If Laszlo is still reading this, Astro does go "Anti-human" in the manga. (One of the reasons why I kinda stopped buying them... other than noticing that I already spent $140 on those mangas. ;^^) I like to call this time, in the manga "timeline", Tezuka's "depressed" period. As he said in one of the mangas, he had to change Astro to compete with the other more violent and popular mangas at that time.

The net is vast and infinite.... Infinity is unattainable and is therefore useless to finite biomechs.

If infinity is unattainable, how could the net be infinite? :o

If everything in the Galaxy is formed of dust and molecules and energy particles.... How can water be wet?

Yeah, & besides that, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? :P

For the best answer to your question, I reccommend the T2 extras. There was a scientifically plausible discussion of the T-1000. As I remember, it was something about itsy-bitsy eeny-weeny (yellow polka-dot bikini) parts that although they were themselves not liquid, were fluid with respect to each other. If you take a hanful of sand, & let it sift between your fingers, and then progress to finer and finer sand, you might conclude that there could be sand sufficiently fine to feel almost like liquid. So, what is liquid? It must be molecules of such size & quality that they flow. I remeber a show about artificial flying insects, & the theory was that to one such insect, it being much smaller than humans, air was almost like liquid, becuase the air molecules were so much larger with respect to it, than with respect to us. This would account for the bee's ability to fly even though it was believed to be impossible, given the size of its wings compared to its body. :D

However, as usual, Cybotron's response is irrelevant.

The net is infinite only in the sense that it has no finite limits. Who can say that it cannot continue to expand in response to demand for better service?

i was mocking.... The answer was so obvious. It's because The net is the product of human imagination and so it is infinite.... Someone will always be adding to it. It is not bound by population constraints. Like Fantasia it has no natural boundaries. But as always Jeffbert has missed the point. :P

You responded to Fafner's "If infinity is unattainable, how could the net be infinite?" with "If everything in the Galaxy is formed of dust and molecules and energy particles.... How can water be wet?". Granted, Fafner himself was responding to "The net is vast and infinite.... Infinity is unattainable and is therefore useless to finite biomechs." In light of these exchanges, it it quite clear that Fafner's response to you is relevant to your posting, while your resonse to him is not relevant to his posting. I both addressed Fafner's question in a serious way, and with my reference to woodchucks & wood, & the net's lack of any fixed limits, clearly demonstrated that I do understand your lighthearded yet, irrelevant response. :P

You sought fault were no fault lay... Fafs response concerned the substance and form and nature of the universe. And so my response concerned the substance of matter and infinity. Yet we are finite in this matter. It is delusion to say we know the number of stars. Except in imagination. Which alone is infinite in man. The thought of our minds exist in synapses formed of dust and juices. wet and dry and the middle state of gels. I said nothing irrelevant..... I was concise and perfect in my response. :wahah:
I knew that Faf (the dragon) would fly if I said the magic words.... And I knew YOU,(being NUTZZZZ,) would attack right away. And I'd have some fun.

So you just want me to fly? :D Now I'm awakaned and out of my cave :P
And obviously yourself accusing people not to understand your statements didn't understand my statement ;) I had just noticed you successively asserted the existence of something infinite (the net), and asserting in the following sentence (in fact the sequence of the previous) that infinity is unattainable. That seems a self-inconsistent statement to me ;)
And since I am awakened and flying I will continue to haunt a little the area :wahah:
Let's continue the metaphore of the man in the light or the dark shall we ;)
We are all butterflies flying in the dark seeking the Light of Knowledge. So desperate to find it, as soon as we see a light we go and stick to it. But what if this light is not the Light of Knowledge but a Candle? It will merely burn the wings of the poor little naive being :o
That's exactly why I have defience toward certitudes: if sticking to near, they burn away my wings  The best thing to do is to fly at reasonably distance, see at all angles if this looks like a Candle, and be ready to flee if it is. And since no one knows how to tell the difference between a Candle and a Light of Knowledge, prudence is the rule B)
After all, people asserting to fly around a Light of Knowledge are themselves a light: are they a Candle or a Light of Knowledge? Do you get it Cybotron? ;)

Sure I get it.... The difference between Walt Disney and Jim Jones.... Which really has the light of knowledge? Which has learned his Xmas lesson? :D
But look at the topic you're posting in. What is my crime? How do you talk to someone incapable of seeing the logic of Xmas? Who in his dark ego cannot see the Tao of comforting the maimed, and wounded soldiers? The dying and the broken hearted? Of extolling the teacher of "Love thy neighbor as thyself" of "Forgive your brother his sin" of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." So that they come after you on easter sunday morning to tear you apart. Xenofoop never knew anything about Astroboy... We were raised to believe in the pillars of Heaven... And to do good and to keep the holidays. Astro allways kept the holidays. Yet they attacked me. They were fakes. They knew nothing of Astro. They ran every man to start his own webpage in order to destroy Astro online. The hatred of God leads to hatred of all that's good. Thus say they Astro is too sweet, tooo good. Thank God we had teachers like Tazuka san and Disney... They kept the holidays in time of war. If not for Xmas and it's Love angel. We would still be fighting WW2, and would be hating our enemies. But to attack a kid for loving Astro as candy on easter morning is the act of a complete reprobate fool or somekind of nazi idiot devil. Astro has Xmas ornaments, easter baskets, halloween candy. The fool never knew anything about Astroboy. He was a fake. Only through universal brotherhood and love were we able to embrace Japan and the USA in so short a time. That's why they hate Astroboy. He's not a thug, not a pimp, and not a nazi.
One picture is worth a thousand words.
Image
The enemies of Astroboy @Xmas or any holiday of love, have the intelligence of a slime mold.
Xmas is getting closer..... :wahah:
Taking Astro off TV is not the end....
We have Astro on the internet. We have hi speed computers and cybernetic power.
You will never overcome us. Never defeat Xmas.
"to become a real Astroboy." as the song goes.

The problem with man in his rage is that he confuses Jesus with the Euro religion. When did the euro churches ever practice love thy neighbor? Tazuka san crawled out of the ruin of Japan and sought to build a bridge of love and hope to the new generation of the west. He stood on the bridge with his Astroboy and said "Merry xmas" we stood on our side of the bridge and said "Merry Xmas"... We spoke no communist rhetoric, we spoke no "Eye for an eye, we spoke no code of bushido. If not for the Xmasian nations of USA, Britain, and yeah even Russia, the hitlerians would have killed every jew and black person on this planet. Tazuka chose what was good to purge his soul and the world of the evil he had seen in the only logical way. Now we face a foe that has sentenced to death all xmasians, all crusaders, all buddhists, all hindus... And they say God has sent them to do it, and will give us all into their hands as slaves. As I say.." How can a man walking in darkness understand a man that walks in light?" MLK, Ghandi,Florence Nightengale, Churchill, Disney, vs Hitler, Stalin,Lenin,... etc. etc.etc. Which is darkness and which walked in light? The mad and fools hate the light.
Image
See that banner? The enemy... The murderer could be happy in here except for that banner... It irritates him, fills his heart with loathing, angers him, he must destroy it and any waving it. Tazuka san and his artists carried it to the grave. Now we have it.
And we are not ashamed.
