Yes, Astro has teeth (see the 1980s screenshots thread). Uran has, too:

I had never realized it was an American flag that was used at the start of the race in the White Planet:

Astro's head hanging to a spring was quite a recurrent gag of the 60s episodes :D I thought it wasn't featured at all in the 80s, but obviously I was wrong :P
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I didn't know it was, though I remember seeing an Astro toy in a box in the caption game. I was looking for a hyotantsugi!

Did you ever notice that the titles were not quite horizontal on the Madman DVDs?

I saw this little girl fall at the bottom of the stairs, not once but twice! :D It's cute! :P

Looks like Bora is in this episode:

And finally...

I FOUND IT!!!!!!! THERE WAS A HYOTANTSUGI AFTER ALL!!!!!!! :wahah:

... but it must be even harder to see on TV, with the sides a little more cropped than that!

television uses a 5:4 (1.333) width to height ratio. This image is 360:270, which reduces to 1.25. That is not much of a difference, & in fact may be no difference at all, if the aspect ratio was not retained in the capture.

360 / 270 = 1.3333

But I wasn't speaking about the ratio. I believe the TV crops the sides of the screen a little bit, which would mean that I get to see the full image on my computer screen (as long as I'm not in full screen mode) but not on my TV.

DrFrag has written something about it here. It doesn't make much of a difference, but if we can't catch the Hyotantsugi's chin, he becomes almost invisible!
