Awesome, can't wait for a review of it.[/QUOTE]
I wish i could if my parents weren't so picky about books

Unyongnekasayo
In my browsing of amazon.jp, I saw 178 pages & over 2100 items, all books. Many were various series in different reprints; that is manga collections in different versions, etc.
But for these, I saw two other sets, both out of print, & selling for about 40% more than the original price. But this set has the Blue Knight, Garon, & 'Puuruto'
or, what I interpret as the GREATEST ROBOT. In view of the Pluto manga & upcoming film, this set ought to increase in value much faster than the others, though I want it not for an investment.

Garon's story was featured in manga, B&W, Jetter Mars (but with a few details different), & 1980s series."Dr. Jerk" wrote:Garon? I thought he was from his own series, not Astro Boy.
Oh wait, Star System, nevermind.
Here is the page I created about this story, though it lacks any reference to the JM version:

Hi, Jeffbert! While I hate to be a bringdown, I say this in the hopes of helping you avert a disappointment. Mainly I hope do you realize that while these reprints are supposed to be exactly as originally published by Kobunsha I do not think they are all in full color, because as you know only the first few pages of any manga story is ever published in color with the rest in B/W which is in keeping with the original practice of Western World (meaning European and American)newspaper comic strips.
The importance here I feel is not only seeing the pages in color, but also noticing how Tezuka's style evolved from year to year. Also seeing the episodes in their original format should reveal alot to the scholar in you. I know you will still enjoy them. (I tried to get the first boxed set, but unfortunately I waited to long before ordering and since this is a limited reprinting, I missed my chance.
I see by an item on the Tezuka Osamu World website that the six boxed sets for this reprint series have all been released and I believe you did say you bought more then one of the box sets, I will be looking forward to your analysis of these volumes once you get them! Wishing you well (and hey what a great Christmas present to yourself!)(That is if they arrive by Christmas of course!) Any way--Enjoy!

ASTROBUDDY, thanks for the tip; I admit that I had not thought about the fact that only the 1st few pages were color.
I am supposing that the page size, I think I noted it above, will be much larger than the manga books I now have.
I am unsure what you mean by my having several boxed sets; do you refer to this product?
