Astro's Green Belt.

I really do not think it matters WHY the belt is green or the boots are red. You are right, it wasn't explained why,(except for maybe the episode of the '80 anime where the woman at the circus gives Astro the boots), and I don't think it's really important.

Green goes well with black and so does red. At least Tezuka didn't make him clash, color wise.

Well almost. My wife cringes if I wear some shades of blue with black.

I can understand this cosplay thing, my wife probably not. I think it's cool. (Hey some of Middle and HS kids these days are now sporting INVERSE MOHAWKS or other bizarre hair styles with unnatural colors and body piercings in places I don't want to think about. You're quite tame in comparison!)

I guess you are copying the style from the movie, rather than the earlier anime. While I liked the movie, I have Astro's purer, Tezuka image burned into my head. Then again, he was clothed (when he WAS clothed) more in Japanese style in the earlier anime, while the movie had him more 'westernized'.

BTW you STILL owe us a picture. We've already seen some other cosplays posted here.

The problem with the picture is, I asked my mom if I could post one and she flat refused to let me. but don't worry... she is refusing to let me post pictures of myself on facebook too Stupid mothers...

I hate when I end up at work with two different shades of black. I feel like I'm clashing. (I wear all black 99.9% of the time) You'd think I'd learn, but I don't!
