I second that! I'm currently unable to take any screenshots myself, but if you could supply the respective images from those scenes I'd be happy to give it a try!

BTW, I don't know how the contouring effect got into those images, they weren't in the originals, nor in the XCF file that got saved in the GIMP. I think it may have been an artifact of the conversion to GIF, but this is the first time it happened.

GIFs usually have a limit of 256 colors, thus pictures with originally smooth crossing of color become graduated by the GIF conversion. Nonetheless, I like the effect it has on your last two Astro entries, as it resembles the surface structure of wood, like, it'd be Astro made out of wood!

for images with lots of shading that don't look so good as gif images I would recommend using png format instead.

png supports 24 bit colour and an 8 bit alpha (transparency) channel, that is 16,777,216 colours and 256 levels of transparency.

where as gif supports a pallet of 256 colours these are 24 bit entries but you can still only have 256 of em, and one of em has to be your transparency colour, and I think there is some other restrictions but can't remember.
so you get 255 or 254 colours to make up your image.

I like to use png format for whatever I do that needs a transparency.

Actually, that image reminds me of Astro's cameo appearance in "Bander Book" where he and Mustachio were 'crossing' themselves after witnessing a robot explode.

Bander book was a TV special like Marine Express. Viki and Anime Sols were streaming it awhile ago. I might have a screen capture of that screen. Someone on ABOL was using an animated gif of Astro crossing himself as an avitar.
