I'd like that very much. But who's producing it and where?

Ahem. I am the one, the only English-language Skunk. And if you fans could help me?

Hong Kong's Imagi Animation Studios are doing the animation. Their US details are:

Imagi Studios U.S.
Imagi Services (USA) Limited
15301 Ventura Blvd., Bldg. D, Suite 210
Sherman Oaks, CA 91403, USA

phone: +1-818-986-3988
email: contact@imagius.com

According to Wikipedia, the producer is Maryann Garger. She appears to have a page for contact details if you have IMDB Pro (free 14 day trial available).

According to IMDB, filming has started. Don't they work on the voices fairly early on in animation? If Skunk is in the movie, he's not listed amongst the cast.

Anyway, I don't know much at all about the industry so I don't know if you'd need an agent or what. Wouldn't hurt to give them a call. Good luck!

Thanks. I've asked them if I can voice Skunk -- if he's in the film -- or do anything else to help. It looks like they have some pretty big name actors signed up already, so . . . we'll see.

If anyone else wants to write to the studio, I used the addresses on the press release on the home page.

Good luck Jayrath. I sure hope Skunk is used in the movie.

He is to Astroboy what Lex Luthor is to Superman.

Hey, Jay...I just watched "The Death Balloons" with my little brother, first in English and then Japanese. It ended up that he really preferred your version of Skunk, saying that your laugh was better and more memorable. (Skunk's Japanese voice sounds like "ehh-ehk! ehh-ehk!")

Something kinda lame, but I just wanted to tell you.

Thank you! I loved doing the laugh. Kids still ask me to do it for them.

It's weird... I've seen a few things in Japanese featuring Skunk, and the laugh is something that they can never seem to get down. Like, have you ever seen Marine Express? He only laughed once, but man was it bad.

Find it on youtube Fauna, you'd appreciate the humor.

Yes, I've seen it. It was so darn weird and fun, but at the same time, my brother and I were taking bets on who'd die next. I can't remember how Skunk laughed, though.

OMG your brothers the man. Also, I thought Skunk's Japanese voice was way too quiet. Every time he'd come on screen I'd have to blast my volume, but then Astro would like crash through the wall or something and be like "WAIIIII!" and I'd have to turn it down again.

Point being it was frustrating.

I think this is why I ran into trouble with the director once in awhile. He wanted more of the Japanese interpretation. I wanted Skunk deep and low.

One more note -- sometimes when we got the dialog tracks they were not completely scrubbed. We picked up a little Japanese that way, such as "hi" and "thank you."
