Oh speaking of bizarre Astro stuff, I did find this lil poster I was visiting the Loop in St. Louis and came across this advertisement for Sushi. I completely freaked out when i realized it was Astro Boy XD

Good art, but kind of weird. Is that Sapphire on his arm or am I imagining things? I'm wondering how Astro would even get tattoos. He could probably just get somebody to draw on him with a Sharpie.

I googled "Astro Boy Tattoo" once, and it turned up a lot of pictures of people wearing his inked image on their skin, including a couple of kids! (I hope THOSE were just drawn on!) I also found some fan art images of Astro wearing tattoos, including this one. Interesting idea, that!

OK this isn't exactly rare or bizarre, but it is interesting.
Saw this on ebay, must be a currently released product, a book released for Atom 65th anniversary.
