That website is blocking image hotlinking. The reason you could see the pics is because after seeing them on the site, they were stored in your cache, also called "temporary internet files", the same thing that makes recently viewed web pages load instantly or even when working offline. I could see them easily just by getting the URLs for them by quoting your post and now they show up when I check your post, at least for a whlie.
