Chapter 17: Groundbreaking

When Astro and Zircon entered through the amusement park entrance, they both flew into the air. “Let’s split up and tell the others what Doctor told us,” Astro said to Zircon. Zircon nodded and “Okay,” to Astro. “Which ride do you want to go on first before we search?” Astro looks around and then points. “How about the Ferris wheel?” Astro asks. “Okay,” Zircon said. “I’ll meet you there after we tell the others.” Astro and Zircon set off flying into different directions, trying to find Zoran, and Astro’s friends. Luckily, Astro found his friends, and Zircon only found Zoran. “Dr. O’shay told us that we all have to meet in the parking lot at five o’ clock,” Astro and Zircon both said in two different areas of the amusement park. “So, don’t be late!” They all nodded. Zircon then remembered that she promised Astro to meet at the Ferris wheel, so she started flying there. While Astro was headed in one direction and Zircon in another direction, she suddenly heard the voice of Dr. Tenma. “Your time is starting to run out, Zircon,” She heard him say. Zircon suddenly stopped. “Soon, when you run out of time, that jewel will be mine for the taking! Give up! You’ll never get this off your mind; it will haunt you forever!” Zircon was really shocked, that she put her hands over her ears. *How come this is getting to me?* she thought. Zircon was then interrupted by Astro, who was waving one of his hands. “Hey! Zircon! Are you coming or what?” Zircon flew towards Astro at the Ferris wheel ride. Zircon partly smiled. “Sorry, I was thinking about something else,” Astro smiles. “No problem, luckily that gave you time for me to move to the front of the line,” he said, smiling.

When Astro and Zircon were in one of the carriages on the Ferris wheel, Astro notices Zircon wasn’t having a good time. She was feeling depressed while looking out the window. “Zircon,” Astro said. “Is something wrong?” Zircon turned her head towards Astro; thinking she didn’t know what he just said. “Oh, everything’s just fine, Astro,” she said, smirking. “What made you say that?” “You seem to be onto something,” Astro said. Zircon tilted her head down, and then sighed. “Okay,” she begins. “A few minutes ago, on my way towards the Ferris wheel, I’ve heard Dr. Tenma’s voice coming from nowhere. He said that the jewel nightmare that I seem to be having was going to haunt me forever until I give up!” “No!” Astro yelled, as his hands were clutched into fists, then he banged them into the Ferris wheel carriage seat. “Don’t let Tenma get to you, Zircon! He’s only doing it so he can reach your most prized possession!” “I know,” Zircon said a little freaked. “I can’t seem to get him off my mind! The more I think of him, the more freaked out I get and he’ll get the jewel a lot faster that way!” Zircon’s eyes get filled with tears, and Astro was shocked. “I can’t take it anymore!” Zircon put her hands over her eyes and started crying. Their Ferris wheel carriage was on the very top of the Ferris wheel. Astro couldn’t resist Zircon’s tears, so he tried to calm her down in order to stop her from crying. “Take it easy, Zircon,” he said, while wiping the tears off of Zircon’s face. “I really don’t want this to happen to you. You’re a robot I’ve met for only two days, and you’re going to blow it all away because Dr. Tenma keeps getting to you?” Zircon’s head was still tilted down, but she was looking through the window, both hands under her head. “What other choice do I have?” Without Zircon noticing, Astro gently laid a kiss on her cheek. Zircon was surprised, and took her hands off of her face.

She turned her head towards Astro. “What was that for?” she asked. “To make you feel better,” Astro answered. “You’re a special robot that I know who holds possession of a mysterious jewel, and it’s also your job to protect it.” Zircon nodded. “I understand,” she said. Zircon turned both of her hands into fists and looked up. “And if Dr. Tenma returns for this jewel, we’ll be ready!” Astro notices Zircon got her confidence back, and then smiles. Zircon hugs Astro without notice. “Thank you very much, Astro!” When Zircon hugged Astro, he also got his confidence back with the blushing deal. Instead, he smiles. The Ferris wheel ride was over for Astro and Zircon. When they both got out, Astro says, “Wow, our hours are up. We need to find Doctor in the parking lot.” “Okay!” Zircon smiles once more.

Chapter 18: Getting Astro's friends home

When Astro and Zircon got to the parking lot, Zoran, and Astro’s friends were already there. Doctor looked at Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie. “Are your parents going to pick you up?” he asked. Astro’s friends all looked at each other sadly. “No,” said Abercrombie said. “They only dropped us off,” said Kennedy. “They’ve heard that you guys were also coming to the amusement park. Since they all had to be at some sort of meeting from noon to four, they were expecting you would take us home.” Doctor looked at his watch. “I don’t think I have enough time to take you home,” he said. “I’ve been called to a special meeting at six o’clock, and I’ll be late if I do.” Astro thought for a minute. “I’ve got an idea,” he said, and turned to Dr. O’shay. “While you’re at your meeting, Zircon and I will take them home.” Doctor smiled. “Alright, you two take them home. I’ll drop Zoran off at home and head towards the ministry.” Both Astro and Zircon nodded. Doctor and Zoran got into the air car, and flew away. The others looked at Doctor and Zoran fly away in the air car. Everyone then turned to look at each other. “Okay,” Astro says. “How about I carry Kennedy and Abercrombie, and you can carry Alejo, Zircon?” Zircon thinks for a minute. “No thanks,” she said. “I have another idea.” Zircon flew into the air, and started glowing all around her body. Suddenly, Astro’s friends were also glowing. All of a sudden, Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie started floating into the air!

Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie couldn’t believe their eyes. “Whoa!” Alejo says while floating in the air. “Amazing!” Kennedy said. “Now this is what I call flying!” “Get me down!” Abercrombie yells. “Heights may be okay with me, but this is too much!” Astro was amazed. “You never told me that your jewel had that kind of power,” he said. Zircon smiles. “Well, that explains why this jewel is my power source,” she said. Astro laughs happily, and he then realizes something. “Does this jewel take up much of your energy?” “Well, it depends on how much I use,” Zircon said. “At this time, if we take your friends home, I would’ve used about three-quarter of my energy.” “Is that good, or bad?” “Well, with about a quarter of energy left, I’ll have enough left to fly back home,” she said. “I’ll feel a little weak, though.” Astro nodded. “Okay, we better get you home until Zircon runs completely out of energy.” Everyone else nodded. Astro flew up into the air, and Zircon followed carrying the others, and they were on their way to getting Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie back home.

It's also short.

Chapters 19 and 20:
19:Road Trip
20:Tenma Payback

Chapter 19

Alejo and Kennedy smiled as Zircon carried them in the air; just above the city. “This is amazing!” Alejo said. “I know!” said Kennedy. “It’s just like flying; but without using any aircrafts!” Abercrombie soon lost his little fear of heights when Zircon was using her floating powers. He slowly opened his eyes, and took his hands off of his ears. “Wow!” he said. The others looked at him, smiling. “Looks like you can handle this type of heights now,” Kennedy said. Abercrombie crossed his arms. “Hmph. Well, don’t push it! This only happened once!” The others laughed except for Astro and Zircon; they both smiled. Astro flew closer towards Zircon. “How come you never told me before that you had powers like that?” he asked. “I don’t know,” Zircon said. “When I was awakened, I never knew how to use my powers.” “Did you remember developing your powers when you were awakened by Dr. Tenma?” Zircon thought for a minute, then looked up. “Well, Dr. Tenma didn’t even know that a lot of energy wasn’t supposed to be used when he tried to awaken me.” “How come?” Zircon looked at Astro. “This jewel was specifically known to be called the Adrenaline Jewel because of the amount of energy it holds. It already holds unlimited amounts of energy. When Tenma give me too much energy, the jewel sucked up the extra energy, and it started to malfunction.” Astro thought for a minute. “How could it do that?” he asks. “There’s a certain type of energy that this jewel uses,” said Zircon. “The energy Dr. Tenma used was energy only used for energy-compatible robots. I’m not really energy-compatible. Most of my energy comes from this jewel.” “Well, I understand that,” Astro said. “So, then what happened?” “The extra energy, was given to the jewel instead of me,” Zircon said. “Since the energy was fed to the jewel instead of me, the jewel had to find a way to feed it off, so it started giving off sparks, jolts, and huge blasts of the excess energy.” Astro was surprised. *Amazing,* he thought. *Even I never went through something like that.*

Kennedy looked down at towards the city, and noticed his house. “My house is down there,” he said. “Drop me off here.” Zircon, Astro, and the others flew down to drop Kennedy off. Kennedy waved, and ran inside. Alejo and Abercrombie’s houses were both located in two separate neighborhoods. They were then dropped off, and also waved back at Astro and Zircon, and entered their houses. Zircon checked her energy meter using the color sensors found inside the jewel. The jewel sensor color was yellow. “Wow, I guess I was wrong,” she said. “I thought after from using my powers to carry Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie, would take up a lot of energy. It only took up half.” Astro smiles. “Well, that’s good. At least you have enough left to fly home.” Zircon nodded, and they both headed back home.

Back at the Ministry of Science, Dr. O’shay had been called to a special holographic scientist meeting in the conference room. Scientists shown all around the world, were shown holographic in this room. “Alright,” Doctor said. “What am I here for?” “This meeting is about that robot you’ve found,” one scientist said. “Zircon?” Doctor remarked. All the other scientists shook their heads. “What’s wrong with her?” “Well, if you’re quiet, we’ll tell you.”

Chapter 20

One of the scientists started saying, “We’ve came to tell you that that robot is dangerous,” Doctor was amazed. “What do you mean she’s dangerous?” he asked. “That robot has a jewel on its forehead,” another scientist says. “That jewel holds huge ounces of energy, and it’s also powerful enough to destroy anything in its path instantly.” “Zircon is the only robot who has this jewel,” Doctor said. “She may have a jewel holding mysterious energy sources, but she’s the only robot created to control the amount of power that jewel holds.” “That’s impossible!” one scientist said while standing. “That’s why we all called this robot dangerous! Not even a puny robot can keep this jewel in control!” Doctor stood up. “Zircon can keep this jewel in control!” he yelled. That’s why she was created! She told me that her creator planned on creating a robot using jewel power!” “This is all a huge lie!” another scientist said. “I vote that we should shut this robot down!” Doctor was shocked. He never realized that the other scientists weren’t taking his side. “This all must be mistaken!” He said. “I’ve never seen you act like this!” All the other scientists started laughing very evilly. “Alright, show yourself! Who are you?” Suddenly, the holographic pictures changed into pictures of Dr. Tenma! Doctor gasped. “Dr. Tenma! I should’ve known it was you!” “I’m glad you noticed.” Tenma said. “You’re the one who did this! Why are you doing this to me?”

Tenma smiled. “To shut down Zircon, of course,” he said. “Why?” “I only did it so you could take sides with those fake scientists I put up. I was hoping you would save humanity by shutting down this robot, so I can go for my newest plan!” “Which is what?” “Stealing Zircon’s jewel!” Doctor gasped. “Why do you want to do that?” he asked. “Once Zircon is shut down, I can steal her powerful jewel. And with that power, I will take over Metro City!” Doctor growled in a “You-can’t-do-that!” kind of way. “Give it up, Tenma!” he said. “All stories say that the good guys always win! Your plan will never unfold!” Tenma smirked. “Those stories were always lies!” he said. “It will soon turn upside-down, and once I soon have this jewel, Metro City is history!” Dr. Tenma disappears in a flash. Doctor sighs, and falls back into is chair. *Tenma never knows when to give up, does he?* he thought. *I thought from before, he’d stop making evil plans. And now, he’s starting to go hardcore!*

It now takes awhile to finish typing the chapters.
Here's chapter 21:Tenma Comeback for Dr. O'shay.

Astro and Zircon got home from dropping their friends off, Astro spotted Doctor’s air car here before them. “Doctor wasn’t supposed to be home until seven o’ clock,” Astro said. “That’s a guess,” Zircon said. “There’s probably a reason why he’s here. What if it was urgent?” Astro thought for a minute. “Well, let’s just go inside to find out,” Both Astro and Zircon entered the house. Doctor was sitting on the couch, losing his patience until he turned his head and spotted Astro and Zircon enter through the door. “There you are!” He got out of his chair, and ran towards Astro and Zircon in a big surprise. He starts shaking Zircon. “The meeting I just had was a fake! Dr. Tenma planned this meeting!” “He did?” Astro asked. “Does that explain why you’re here early?” Doctor nodded, stopped shaking Zircon, and said, “Tenma only did this to steal that jewel from Zircon’s forehead!” Zircon sighed, and tilted her head down. “I know,” she said. Doctor was surprised, and took his hands off of Zircon’s shoulders. “You knew the whole time?” Zircon nodded, and looked at Dr. O’shay. “Of course I know. The last time I heard him, was at the Rocket Ball game yesterday. He was also the one who was in control of those battle bots Astro and I battled.” “Did he only control those robots to attack you?” Astro asked. “Yes,” Zircon answered. “They were also set to attack Astro, too. I had to do something to stop them, or they would’ve destroyed him. Dr. Tenma only did it so I would join in the fight, and use my powers on the battle bots.” Doctor thought for a minute. “What happened afterwards?” he asked. “The battle bots all increased their powers to the max, and started firing their most powerful laser beams at me. I realized when we both fired our laser beams at each other, our powers were equal. I then noticed that I felt weak, and I was starting to spark all around my body. In order to defeat them, I had to increase my power twice as much as their power.” “You passed out afterwards, right?” Doctor asked. Zircon nodded.

Astro, Doctor, and Zircon then noticed Zoran coming down the stairs. She was wearing her pajamas, and was also holding a stuffed animal. “Are you guys talking about Dr. Tenma again?” she asked feeling tired. “I now know that Tenma is going to steal that jewel on Zircon’s forehead,” Doctor said. “And he’s going to keep doing this until Zircon is destroyed and the jewel is in his possession.” Zoran gasped. “Why is he doing this?” she asked. “He’s doing this so he would have enough power to destroy Metro City,” Zircon said with her head tilted. Everyone gasped except for Zircon, and all looked at her. “Where did you get that from?” Doctor asked. “I heard Dr. Tenma say that after our Rocket Ball game,” Zircon answered. Zoran drops her stuffed animal, and clutches her hands into fists. “No one is going to hurt, or destroy Zircon!” she yelled. “I can take care of Dr. Tenma! If I just blow him a few punches, he’ll be history!” Astro turned to look at Zoran. “Battling Dr. Tenma is way too difficult to battle, Zoran,” he said. “He holds tons of tricks or schemes up his sleeve, and we don’t know how he’s going to strike Zircon. We better keep a sharp eye out for him. He can strike at any time.” Zoran nodded an “Okay.” to Astro, and then smiled. “Oh well, I tried.” she said. “Let’s get to bed,” Doctor said. “I just remembered that I enrolled you in Astro’s school.” Zircon was surprised. “Oh! I almost forgot!” Zoran was about to run up the stairs. “I hope you enjoy your first day of school, Zircon,” Zoran said.

Doctor turned to look at Zoran. “You know, Zoran,” he said. “The supplies I bought were enough for two people to use. I just remembered that I also enrolled you in Astro’s school." Zoran was surprised. "Why?" "You've always complained time after time, that you always wanted to go to school." Doctor said. "I believe your IQ isn’t strong enough to be in Astro’s classroom, so for now, I’ll put you in second grade, for starters.” Zoran smiled happily and said, “Oh, thank you, Doctor! I’m definitely going to like this school!” Zoran ran up the stairs. When Astro and Zircon were about to go up the stairs, Doctor stopped Zircon. “Zircon,” he said. “Are you sure you can handle this monstrosity with Dr. Tenma?” Zircon sighed, and tilted her head down. “I don’t know,” she said. “I can try, but it’s hard for me to get him out of my head. If only the whole feud was over, I wouldn’t feel so worried about it.” Doctor walked over to Zircon, and put his hand on one of her shoulders. Zircon looked up at him and asked, “Where and when is his next move?” “Well, we don’t know what he’s up to now,” Doctor said. “But don’t feel too worried about it, Zircon. There’s no possible way he’ll distract you while you’re at school tomorrow.” “Well, I can try my best to forget about Dr. Tenma,” Zircon said. “But it’s not going to be easy, though.” Doctor took his hand off of Zircon. “I know it won’t be,” he said. “But still, try your best.” Zircon smirked a little. “Thanks, Doctor,” she said, as she walked towards the stairs. “Good night.” Doctor smiled. “Good night, Zircon. Good luck on forgetting!”

On Microsoft Word, if this story was created using the book panel/option, I would have a little past 50 pages. Normally, I'm only on page 29.

Chapter 22: Groundbreaking II

Zircon was walking up the stairs, happy as ever, until she suddenly heard Dr. Tenma’s voice again! *You know that Dr. O’shay was lying to you the whole time, Zircon,* he said. Zircon was shocked and stopped going up the stairs. *You thought trying to forget about me, was the only way to not be so worried? Forgetting never works! Besides, I’ve heard that even people think that you’re too dangerous to be around!* Zircon quickly covered her mouth with both hands. *I will keep getting into your mind, until you’ll soon fork over that jewel! After that, I will take over Metro City, and your life will be ruined forever!* Zircon quickly put her hands over her ears, and started acting depressed. *Please, I just wish this nightmare was over!* she thought severely upset. She quickly ran up the stairs into Astro’s bedroom. Zircon spotted Astro sitting on his bed. He noticed Zircon came into his room in a big hurry. Her eyes were filling up with tears. “I overheard you and Dr. O’shay talking about Dr. Tenma,” Astro said. “It’s a nightmare, Astro!” Zircon said. “I can’t take this anymore! Tenma will never get off my mind! It’s just going to keep bothering me until I’m destroyed!” Still standing, Zircon put her hands over face, and starts crying. Astro was surprisingly shocked, and walks over towards Zircon; trying to calm her down. He put one of his hands on her shoulders, and looked straight at her eyes. “Don’t say that, Zircon,” Astro said. “Dr. Tenma is only doing this so you could give up that jewel on your forehead a lot faster.” Zircon took her hands off of her face, and jerked around to get Astro’s hand off of her shoulder. “I know!” she said loudly. Astro was shocked. He never realized that Zircon all of a sudden gets mad at him. “You’ve told me tons of times, and now I’m getting frustrated from it!” Astro soon gets his confidence back. “What else do you want me to say?” Astro asked. “Doctor, Zoran, and even I, try our best to help keep your mind off of Dr. Tenma! Other than that, we still don’t even know your creator’s name! Not even you can remember it!”

Zircon was shocked. She then sighs and tilted her head down. Astro calms down. “Why can’t you still understand that we’re trying to help you?” Astro asked. “I’m sorry, Astro,” Zircon said. She walked towards her bed, and sits on it. “You don’t seem to know how bad my life has been so far. I can’t remember my creator’s name; Dr. Tenma won’t stop bugging me, and even though this jewel is so powerful, I now realize that people think I’m too dangerous to even be around them.” Zircon stood up and walked over to the window. She did nothing but gazed outside the window, or looked at her reflection. “Where did you get the information about people being afraid of you?” Astro asked. “I heard Dr. Tenma talking to me in my mind while I was going up the stairs,” Zircon said. She then turned to look at Astro. “Astro, I’m really scared. What are we going to do?” Astro walked towards Zircon. Standing behind her, he put his hands on her shoulders. He looked at Zircon’s eyes while she turned her head to look at Astro’s eyes. “We’ll do the best we can, Zircon,” Astro said smiling. “No matter what, Doctor, Zoran, your friends, and I will always be by your side to help defeat him.” Zircon’s frown quickly turns into a happy smile. “Thanks, Astro,” she said. “Let’s just hope we’ll defeat him, for good.” Without interrupting, Dr. O’shay came up the stairs, and overheard Astro’s and Zircon conversation. He smiles and thought, *Sometimes, Astro’s words cheers me up a lot. I’m just glad I have a robot that can create tons of speeches.* Doctor walks towards his bedroom, also carrying a happy mood.

Meanwhile, in Dr. Tenma’s lair, Tenma acting severely upset; mad enough to slam his fists onto a table, and leaving cracks in it. “I was so close!” he yelled. “Those robots I’ve created should’ve been strong enough to destroy Zircon!” Tenma looks at his battle-bot blueprints. He soon had another idea in mind. “Wait a minute, what if I rearrange these blueprints to make something new? I’ll create a robot holding over 30 different abilities, including the ones Astro and maybe even Zircon has! This robot will have 1,000,000 horsepower, multiplying abilities, transformation, and much more! Soon enough, Zircon will have to fork over the jewel!”

Well, except from episode 50:The Final Battle, in the series.
This, is different.
This is like showing a full-lenth movie right after the 50th episode.
When it's finished, I could probably get it published right after I get the mistakes out.
Since in the first chapter, he realized that Zircon's jewel holds tons of power, and now, he never gives up until the jewel is in his possession.

Right now, I'm thinking of a trailer for it.
I'll post it in as a script either today, or another time.

If I were to make this story a movie, I need to make a trailer.
So, here's the trailer I made, but it's in script form:

Narrator: Everything Astro did to save the world, had finally made his dream come true. A few months has then passed, and a new robot was then awakened by Dr. Tenma; from being lost deep into the ocean. When too much energy was used, the robot malfunctioned, and destroyed Dr. Tenma's lair. And now, Tenma realized that using the robot's power, he could destroy Metro City!
(Area moves to Dr. O'shay's house)
Astro:A robot!
Zoran:How did it get here, Doctor?
Doctor:I don't know, but let me take it to the ministry to awaken it.
(Doctor returns from the ministry)
Doctor:I would like you two to meet, Zircon.
(Astro and Zoran were amazed)
Astro:How did you end up on our front lawn?
Zircon:Somebody awakened me, but that person give me energy I'm not compatible with. He had almost spiky hair on his head, and the same on his chin.
Everyone except Zircon:TENMA!
(Farther in the movie, in Astro's bedroom)
Zircon:I now realize that Dr. Tenma wants to steal this jewel from me. Without it, I'm done for.
Astro on't worry, Zircon. Doctor, Zoran, your friends and I will always be by your side to help protect you.
(Zircon smiles)
Narrator:Meanwhile, at Tenma's lair...
Tenma:If an army of battle bots didn't work, I'll create an ultimate robot holding tons of abilities that will force Zircon to fork over the jewel! *laughs evilly*
(Tenma soon sends out the robot while Astro, Zoran, Zircon, Doctor, Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie were outside)
(The robot multipies into multiple robots)
Zircon r. Tenma is creating a huge robot invasion! He's doing it to steal the jewel!
Astro:I'm not going to let him do that!
(A huge battle broke out, but the multiple robots soon snatched everyone into the air, and brung them to Dr. Tenma's lair. Everyone was locked up, except for Zircon)
Tenma:Fork over that jewel, or your friends are history!
Astro on't do this, Zircon!
Zoran:We're your friends!
Doctor:He's just doing this for power!
Zircon *mumbles*:I have no choice...
(Screening suddenly blacks out)
Narrator:What choice will Zircon have?
(Screening then shows quick pics after Zircon's decision)
Narrator:Astro Boy:Zircon's Jewel.
Rated "PG" (I made that up...)
