the reason is translation,
when translating manga or comic from a foreign language you come in contact with names like that. its difficult mainly becuase the name means something in japanese may not be the same in english which is why we go tongue twisted but also it could be preference becuase the manga translater will use the original name or will use the common name for the character this is quiet common as well.

News reporter: Today Red Bull has been sued for false advertising, that "Red Bull gives people wings"
