Dear all Astro fans,

I re-open this thread due to my today's birthday present. Made now a year I'm working on a thesis about japanese animation raw material, and I'm slowly setting up an exhibition for 2011 in my current living town Paris.
Here is the present picture (CG simulation for coming exhibition), I get an anime cel from Astro and a baby sibling that I suppose to be "Chi-Tan".



There are several episodes that include this baby robot (165 - 178) but not broadcasted in English language, so I may request experts to find the DVD pictures snapshot from Japanese ones and a possible time reference in the episode (without opening credits).

Anime cel confirmed as an original art and china ink lines are in a perfect aspect of conservation. But, it often happen that to raise prices, sellers through ages include non-matching backgrounds. So I need to control background to be matching or not with the TV scene. Full crew cast varmly appreciated as this can be a post-painted work from "Shingo Araki" animator sketch.

With the hope people here may offer assistance

Character confirmed to be "Chi-Tan" ?

This list is really precious, sounds that my picture's quest will be complicated...
First step reached with this list is time reference, this image is dated from 1966 on Japanese broadcast (so obviously painted in 1965).

I hopefully may suppose that such a cute smiling robot may be easy to find.
If this come from #193, I think I can open a Champagne bottle

May the neck color help ?... Appears not to be #165 (black color neck), rest 7 episodes to check.
Where can I watch those videos online, Youtube had some on their official movie directory but vanished... and only english dubed ones.

On my source picture Astro looks really happy, first met ?
On the screenshot, there's a lot of anger (I may suppose baby causes trouble)
Appears that episode 170 Chi-Tan wears a black neck outfit, so 5 episodes left.

If you've sources on AVI XVID, I've a nice automatic tool able to sequence all the episodes in a mosaic of miniatures detailing sequences second by second, like in photography with a summary list index but more detailed.
May this help ? (takes 4 minutes of worktime per episode).

Astro face drawing looks like similarly drawn, I may suppose that the artist was the same. Can this help by crossing with the staff composition to reduce episode list ?
My offer about sequencing tool remains open, that'll save your time and will help to built a visual database.

Any other person able to identify the episode where my source image come from ?
