Thanks! So it's not an acronym for something else. I thought the look you describe was known as "goth" -- I feel so old sometimes but do like to keep up as best I can!

BTW I like the colorful hair thing. If I were a teenager I know I'd do that. Looks kinda silly on a woman my age though. I could be Mrs. Ochanomizu!

My friend Ashley likes a lot of emo anime characters, and one time at school this one dude was in her seat when she left to go to the office for an errand, and she was like "Dude get outta my seat!" and the guy was like "Heck no!", and she was like "Get outta my seat!" and I was like "You better get out of her seat before the emo chick gets angry!" and Ashley was like "Yeah, you do not want to see an angry emo chick!" LOL!

Well i think no one will be able to handle to be an emo if his/her past has very Terrifying .like black jack his mother died in a bomb explosion and no one will be able to handle that

Also, Black Jack was blow to bits and had to have major surgery to get back to normal. It was bad enough when he got hurt, but he got more depressed when his mother died. (like you said, no one could handle that.)
BTW, If you have ever watched Black Jack 21, you would know that the explosion that hurt Black Jack and his mom was no accident.

Black Jack 21 (Memories! It was the first Tezuka series I saw all the way through) sort of doesn't fit into Tezuka's preferred storyline, though. A few of the plot twists don't match Tezuka's style, and the whole bomb conspiracy contradicts how Tezuka had the landmines at the beach as a representative of how war and hatred wallow around and come back to get the innocent. However, the Phoenix Disease was so effectively creepy.

LOL, Colorful! Anyways, it was a nice touch, that the
red haired lady was Black Jacks sister.
BTW Fauna, what do you mean by 'from the terrible 1993 version'? The OVA version? If you do mean the OVA one, it was weird. Way more gory (did I spell that right???). O_o I still have to watch the Black Jack Movie based on the OVA version...
