how could you not notice? thats how i know,i've watched mickey mouse and Astro and they are really close, Tezuka and Disney are like brothers the other never had.

They actually met at a World's Fair, you know. Disney told Tezuka that he had wanted to make something "like Astro Boy", both in success and appeal.

I agree, the movie probably would have been better if Disney had made it, after all Disney is well known, whereas I-magi isn't known for any great movies (besides Astro Boy). Actually, I-magi just isn't well known in general.

Disney should have picked it up, Disney has been good with movies regardless aside from the corny ones, movies like Pirates of the Caribbean,Sorcerer's Apprentice,and many others.

Dreamworks have been doing pretty good recently with their movies including the movie Shrek, I could see them doing a good job if they made an Astro Boy movie, but not as good as Disney would.
