I'm just wondering if the boxset also comes with all of those other volumes as shown in the images...
Hm, well I'm sure the boxes might still have some extras.
ATOM MANGA IN FULL COLOR!
Oh, I see. I am sure there is a large slipcase and all the other stuff fits inside it.

I received the thing today; & am both disappointed and thrilled with it. 1st, the disappointment: while I saw 'puruto' in the google translated page, GREATEST ROBOT is not here. Now the thrill: I am flabbergasted to see just how massive the BK story arc actually is! It fill one and about a quarter of those large volumes. The images are much larger than those in the DH 23 volume set. There is so much more content here than what is in the DH.
I could spend over a day flipping through this & the 19 & 20th volumes of DH just trying to determine what was cut.
Besides the BK arc, this set also contains:
I recall one particular difference in the 2nd or 3rd part:
Atom took not only Uran, but Cobalt, when he went to Africa, but the authorities tried to stop him (recall article 9 of the ROBOT LAW forbids robots leaving the country w/o permission). Atom carries U & C in suitcases, as indicated by their eyes showing on the cases ends. In the struggle, A drops C's case, & as I cannot read J, I am stumped as to why A simply continued w/o attempting to recover Cobalt.
Along with the 2 large volumes there is a sheet tal lists the contents, including chapters in the volumes & other booklets' titles. Also there are what I took to be coloring books, as they seemed to have guides to the colors on Atom inside their front covers. There is what appears to be a signed artwork, though it is likely a reproduction. A post card, & one other booklet.
I will scan the cover so anyone who reads J may translate it; as it lists the contents.

Besides the BK arc, this set also contains:
- The Headless Robot
- 20,000,000 year old crime
- Zolomon's Jewel
- & at least 1 more that I cannot recall without looking.

It should be simple to match these dates with the tales they go with on the wayback machines Tezuka manga pages.
1 & 2 are both out of print, but available from private sellers at much higher prices, & whether or not they would ship to the USA, I do not know. It would be nice to have the whole series, but I guess I will simply abandon that hope for now. Maybe eBay might have someone offer them.
Anyway, back to #6, which I just received: Most of the color pages are advertisements (I think), though as already stated, the content that was excluded from the 23 vol set seems well worth the cost, esp., since I am writing a book on Atom. I will likely abandon my intent to buy the live-action set, at least postpone it indefinitely.

So there were cut pages from the other volumes? I normally would have said that these were probably the older versions, (There was once a Leo boxset, had the Shonen version that was once thought to be lost), but if it's just cut, well... Disappointing I guess since we probably ended up getting the cut versions, but oh well.

I meant that it's disappointing that others have to live with the cut versions. Well, beggars can't be choosers.
