So do the drapes & everything else in the image. Perhaps the darkened scene accompanies Skunk's evil plan as a metaphor.

Yes, it could be! :)

I had said the other day that I couldn't find any mistake in The Girl From Alsoar. I had totally forgotten that I had found one. I should have written it down before falling asleep. <_<

There is a difference in the background behind Astro, but even the videophone itself isn't identical.

Also, Uran lost her gloves after Astro threw her in the snow! :P

I have officially at least one mistake for each episode of the 1980 series now! :P

5 months later...

I found a second occurance of Uran having white sleeves instead of red in Uran's Twin (the first one was on the evening her parents dismiss her idea of participating in roboting):

In The Transformation Robot, Astro manages to bring back Buck even though his jets aren't working. They should definitely be visible, as we can see from the second shot:

Edit: jeffbert, here was the post in which you had posted screenshots of "Atom goes to the West", although the pictures aren't showing anymore....

I remember only one from the 2003 series (at the beginning of this thread, and jeffbert mentioned it a few days ago in another thread), but there are hundreds in the 1980 series, and probably thousands in the 1963 series (a few of them were mentioned in this thread)!

I fixed the images' URLs:

Atom is freed to go find evidence or catch the real crooks, while H & O are left where they were.

The scene returns to a very nervous H & O, panning from right to left, but going just a bit too far, becuase, Atom's left shoulder appears. (I thought I had a picture of this, but I am sure you can imagine it.

 :D

I could have sworn I saw an episode where Daddy Walrus introduced himself as "Sam Banister" & not "Albert Duncan" as he first introduced himself to Astro... I wish I had written down which episode that was though, it's been driving me crazy ever since. If I recal correctly, It was one of the ones where he's 'playing' detective.

He was first introduced to Astro in the "Save the Classmate" episode, which the 4th one in the Japanese order. There's a picture of him playing the detective while he is talking, even though that's not what he does in this episode itself.

But then maybe you live in Canada and that's how they called him in the Canadian version, since they changed all the names.

No, I have the 8 disc american boxed set and that's the only version of the 80's show I've seen since I was maybe 4 years old. It definately wasn't 'Save The Classmate' though... it was a scene where he storms in on some bad guys... I want to say it was "goliath's head" but that's just grasping at straws... I'll see if I can get to the bottom of this & report back to you guys.

Yeah, he briefly goes by the alias Sam Banister in Goliath's Head, just as he breaks down the door to Skunk's hideout. Such a great scene. I think his private investigator side got the better of him!
