I was never interested in building sculptures with my LEGO, but rather intricate models with 'working' features, such as gun turrets, secret passages in fireplaces, a gallows just like the one in Hang 'em high (except that mine had only two trapdoors :lol :) , & various other things. I have a few pics stashed away somewhere, & one day, I will scan them & publish on the web. :D How tall will your Atom be when finished?

Official life size, 4'6". His official weight is 35kg, which is probably how much the lego model will weigh too. :D

OMG! That gives me an interesting image of an Astroboy built entirly out of legos or a Legoman shaped Astroboy.

Where does that info come from? The manga?

For some reason I had 4'5" in mind, but don't ask me where I got that one from! I'm sure you are right! :D

As for his weight, I thought I had heard 31 or 33kg in the Mission Deimos episode, but then I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it varies depending of the source...

In any case, 35 kg is really light considering he's a robot... I'm thinking he must be partly made of styrofoam to compensate for those heavy metal components!

He must be made of carbon fiber. Light weight but really strong. They use it in planes, why not Astro? :P :D
