Well it is good to remember that General MacArthur believed strogly in the UN in the hope it would prevent great disasters like WW I and II.

The Japanese always had an unshakable faith in the UN ideal, no matter how flawed it has become these days.

Wish the United Nations could bring peace, but it is not much better than it was back when "The Day The Earth Stood Still" movie was made.
