Astroboy in Lego
WOW

"Astro, you must exceed the limitations that humans cannot!
You must be go beyond nationality, ethnicity,
pilosophy, and religion,
starvation and poverty,
and war!
Exceed these limitations created by man!
You must fly high! Higher than any human has ever flown before!
To reach for the future that no human has been able to so far!"

Wonderful, beautiful, cute, gorgeous... Your work has been incredible, and I'm ashamed it's still on the works!!!
BTW, I have to make a reivindication: The souvenir bullfight poster in the background reminded me of something: in Spain, bullfights are nowadays minoritary, and the mejor part of its spectators are foreign tourists (Spaniards generally prefer soccer and basketball). In the region where I live, we hate bullfights so much that we're about to ban them on our jurisdiction! And I'm very, very happy for this. I just can't understand why there's people in my country who still enjoys watching this horrible torture, which it's at times aired on TV on hours where kids can see it.
[Here there was a photo of a dying bull after a corrida with a text reading "NO MORE BULLFIGHTS!".I decided to erase it because of kids watching this forum. They're too young to see this expression of horror
and manifestation of human "superiority". Remember True? He was killed by "superior" humans because of simple lies, Imagine this in the real world with a bull without any rational thoughts]
I hope someday we Spaniards will not have to carry this weight anymore.
... And this is my last word about it. I'm sorry for being off-topic, but I wrote this kind of manifest to make clear that most young people in my country hates this so-called sport (I'm a militant, what can I say...)

I'm sorry about that appearing in the photos, Ataru. It didn't even occur to me. I am also totally opposed to bullfighting, as is everyone I have ever met. I've read about the horrible things they do to the poor animals.
I hope you don't think I support bullfighting in any way because of that picture. It's an old print that's been in my family for years. I suppose because it's a painting rather than a photo, and because I'm used to seeing it, that it doesn't remind me of animal cruelty when I look at it. I think more of the stylised brushwork and zeitgeist. (I also can't read any of it, so I don't know if it glorifies the torture and killing or if it's just an ad.)
I'll try to remember to remove it in future photos.
I didn't realise there are still bullfights in Spain. I'm glad there's strong opposition to it!

No, Dr. Frag, you got me wrong. You don't have to apologize only for having one of this posters! Souvenir shops in Barcelona are full of these (one can even personalize 'em), and buying or keeping one doesn't mean one supports this (not only this: an old bullfight poster is a tresaure for all kinds of poster collectors). I only took inspiration from this to make a lil' publicity to my ideas. Being from a country where bullfights are legal really depresses me, and I take the first possibility I can find to remind all the world that aprox. the 70% (68.8% is the exact percantage) of spaniards don't like this so-called "art".
It's only a reivindication about animal rights, not a talking-to, I swear !!! I'm very sorry you took it as a talking-too

And now, let's go back to the beautiful art of making Lego figures, an art that is suffering a regression on these last years for the advance of electronic products. A real pity, because I love Lego and K'nex and Mega Blocks AND PLAYMOBIL (oh how I loved these little German ones!), and all these good ol' build-it-yourself toys.
