Well I thought it did...

What antivirus and firewall software do you use. Since I began using file-sharing apps to download Atom's new adventures, I have been using Bullguard. It covers firewall, antivirus, and even monitors system activity, occasionally asking for my permission for a program to modify a regestry key. Nevertheless, I still also use Zone Alarm. A little redundancy will hurt nothing.

I love your use of smileys, Loüßëãr!

You should be okay to use cookies as long as you have an anti-virus programme and a firewall. I use VET Anti-Virus and Tiny Personal Firewall (which is free for home use).

I use MusicMatch for MP3-WAV conversion, Cool Edit 96 for WAV editing, Paintshop Pro for picture editing, and VirtualDub for video editing.

That detail was overlooked, the scene just went from the request to swap to the swapped condition.

I believe that tiny works by asking you whether each distinct web address is allowed to send data to and receive it from your computer. I found this very tedious, because every time I visted a new URL, I had to click 'ok'. I have been using Zone Alarm for about a year, and find it protects ok. It uses an application approach, asking if Internet Explorer is allowed to send/receive data. Since I had tried Kaazaa, I have been using Bullguard also. It works as both a firewall and an antivirus program. But it also monitors file-sharing activity. This activity can be dangerous, because it requires giving a program server rights. That is, your pc in addition to downloading the latest Astroboy episode for your enjoyment, is also acting as a source for other people to download whatever your have already downloaded. Zone alarm distinguishes between these two types of activity, and creates rules for both separately. Bullguard monitors the server process, forbidding anything other than access to your shared files.

Do not misunderstand me, I think the type of thing that Tiny does can be very helpful in protecting your pc. :D But you must be prepared for some tedium. You must allow each and every URL (web page) you visit to send/receive data, but to make that a rule so that you do not end up clicking ok every time you visit the page, you must also click "create rule", and go through the process of doing so. This ensures that no unauthorized web address can interact with your pc. But hackers can probably reroute their attacks so that they seem to originate from some legitimate addresses. Nevertheless, if you can endure the tedium, it is a very good idea to use Tiny.

I haven't had any tedium with it. The first time I used Internet Explorer with it and accessed a site, it asked if I should allow it. I selected Create An Appropriate Rule before clicking yes, and now it knows it's okay for web sites to send Internet Explorer data through that particular port.

But if a site tries to do something different, like send data to another application or use the wrong port, Tiny will let me know and ask if I want to allow it. The only time I get further questions with IE is when I upgrade - Tiny detects the application has been replaced and asks if I want to accept this.

Also at first I was getting a lot of strange access requests, mostly from foreign universities, trying to access unusual ports or system apps. These died down after a few days and now it's rare I get any threat warnings. My computer doesn't even respond to pings from the Internet.

You can check your own at Shields Up!.

I had always opted for the more restrictive rules that allowed or forbid particular URLs to sending data. I did not see much point in using the less-restrictive rules. <_< But if Shields up gives an ok on your system, who am I to complian?

Here's some. It's pretty hard to get good detail on his feet though.

Thts great Dr Frag :wahah:  Its enough to get what I need for this thing of mine. I hope to be able to put Atlas's Wig on Asto then 'paint' him to look like Atlas, even a junior version of Atlas's cape & mask as suggested ;) :D I have already fixed it so you can swap legs & screw them on & off to replace them as per the cartoon(with some artistic licence as it wasnt shown) & dress him up as the dog & spray paint his face, as well as other "surprises" THX again for the pics
 :wahah:  :D

So how does it work? Are you making this out of paper or on computer or as a model?
