Did you ever find mistakes?

Indeed! It would have fitted better in the Cleopatra episode!

Since I am at it, I noticed 2 more cases of Astro suddenly and briefly loosing his boots in another BW episode. Looks like it is a common mistake. I wonder if they were just reusing generic cels or something like that, because that just can't be a coincidence.

I haven't seen much of the BW episodes, but I noticed there was no story to him getting the boots. He entered the circus without them, then suddenly he was wearing them. :huh:

Perhaps they were less stringent with consistency checking in those days.

I have seen several eps in which he was clothed in one frame, costumed in the next, then clothed in the third.

In fact it looks like the entire thing was redrawn.

I don't know if this counts as a mistake, but another scene earlier that episode...



These scenes were 2 frames apart. My theory is they knocked off work at this point, and the next animation crew came on duty.
