Astroboy in Lego

Man, what a crisis... I hope Lego will overcome this... I have to confess that when I see a Lego catalog, I always pick it to look at the new cool products.
I loved the football (soccer) game. Too bad I dislike Zinedine "COUP DE BOULLE!" Zidane as a person (mostly because I'm a fan of his rival team )

i use-to love lego... but the bricks have changed alot over the years some of the brickas are hard to put togeter and i cut my self

So how's the project been going? Did you start the head yet?

I started teaching myself 3D modelling yesterday. It's harder than I thought. I'm used to 3D work in game maps, but modelling seems to require different techniques.

Once I've learnt enough, I'll have a go at importing Fasty's Astroboy model. I might be able to build on it, although I have a bad feeling he never did Astro's face.

I'll let you know when I make some progress.

I was just informed of FREE software that would allow users to design LEGO projects: http://ldd.lego.com/. I knew of a product of this nature, but assumed it was not FREE. I might try it myself.
