Those are the kind of scenes that you don't really notice as a child but that suddenly become so special 20 years later! Astro is built like a missile, and here is the missile singing "dam dam dee dam dam..." :wahah:





This reminds me how rare it is to see Atlas using his own strength. He almost always relies on his horse, his sabre, his castle or his robots, which makes him even more like humans: don't bother with the hard tasks, create tools that will make them easier instead!

What could Astro be covered with? It seems to happen regularly after he is hit by the sabre...












Does he have more than one kind of bullets? :huh: Otherwise, I don't understand why what he is shooting looks so different than two pics ago... :wacko:

Interestingly (well, almost...), this is the only episode in which I can recall Astro wearing different clothes, save for when he is disguising (as a dog, or as detective Holmes...). He wears a green sweater with a white collar in the plane, then a white one, then this green lime sweater with a yellow collar. After that, even when he ruins his clothes, he puts on an identical outfit.

Don't ask the wrong questions B) We know that consistency is not the primary concern in this serie

By the way, did you see that the flames are not right on the jets again? Shall I post them on the errors thread? Or maybe that's not really an error after all: during my courses in school where we used to heat chemical substances, the flame was not right on the object either (sorry, I don't know the word of that object in English, and it seems I can't find it).

Or maybe I should edit my post... Though not only the flames aren't right on the jets, the flame on his right leg isn't even centered in the above pic.

In this pic however, the flames seem very close to his legs:



But I guess we know that consistency wasn't a a huge concern...

Just out of curiosity, I'll pay more attention at regular speed to see how much it shows. As the flames move constantly, maybe I just picked the frames where they are a little bit smaller or something. Of course, right now my DVDs are away from my computer... <_<
