Or maybe I should edit my post... Though not only the flames aren't right on the jets, the flame on his right leg isn't even centered in the above pic.
In this pic however, the flames seem very close to his legs:

But I guess we know that consistency wasn't a a huge concern...

Just out of curiosity, I'll pay more attention at regular speed to see how much it shows. As the flames move constantly, maybe I just picked the frames where they are a little bit smaller or something. Of course, right now my DVDs are away from my computer... <_<
