Okay, it's not that cold yet here in Canada, but without electricity, believe me, the other night was very cold! Today, it's not so cold outside, but the wind makes it terrible!

I'd love to go to Canada! How come you don't have electricity if you don't mind me asking?

Seriously, you don't want to be in Adelaide for weather right now. It's only rained once or twice over the past couple months, and there's no rain at all forecast for the next three months. It's the worst drought on record, and they're saying it's the worst in 1000 years. It's really hot every day and the water restrictions are getting stronger. There are fires all over the state, some they think they won't be able to put out before Christmas. I could see smoke on Tuesday from a fire just 20km from the city centre.

It's going to be 38 degrees tomorrow. February is our hottest month, I'm not looking forward to that.

OMG!!! O.O.... i have never seen weathere like this in my life it's going mad over here in london. there was a strom what blew off a house roof and almost killed 6 people hmy: and it ripped away half a house aswell every night my window is opening and slamming shut over and over it's the wind and the rain sounds like frozen peas hitting my window :d oh:

We do, and our electricity company is extremely reliable, but there was an ice storm with a lot of wind last week. Branches fell of trees (why do people insist on planting trees right below electrical wires? :d oh: ) and there might have been other problems with the electrical network caused by the weather. We were left with no electricity for one evening and one night. At least it wasn't -20C outside!

I just heard it's gonna be 41 tomorrow, and I have to WORK My b-day is in Feb as well, so it's gonna be hot hot hot. I haven't been able to see any smoke, but I sat outside today with some chocolate, and 5 minutes later it had melted.

Oh, ok. I've never been in a snow storm or ice storm before, but the coldest place I've ever been in was Canberra when we went there for a school excursion for 3 days. It was like frost in the mornings, and the afternoons weren't much better.
