As I stated above, "a sense of smell" is "dependent upon drawing airborne particles into the nose and accross the Olfactory receptors (ORs)." And only as nerve impulses do the odors reach the brain. Of course, that assumes that we are living outside the Matrix.

FINALLY!!!!!! Astroboys here in the Philippines. iam a little bit sad astroboy has not been given great promotions of his comeback but anyways his here now and his here to stay for good.

ive finally understood things that confuses me a looong time ago. like the way he flies, his new powers, and etc. anyways, i also learned astro can absorb a lot of energy. is that an old power??

is the new series a continuation of the old series or it is a new one following a new plot? iam a little bit confused on how he was created, who created him, who really gives him his name and yet he can remember things that had happen in the past, that is, if you will compare it to the previous series. anyway, i was too young then so i may be wrong.

I believe the new series gradually reveals Atom's past in memories for two reasons:

1. to make it sufficiently different from the motion picture that will be relesed soon. Because this new series was created because the film was behind schedule, and Sony wanted to make 4/7/2003 a special day. But because a plot that was too similar to the motion picture's might take away from the film's popularity, the flash backs are therefore used to reveal Atom's earliest days. I am assuming that the film will use a different plot. However, I have seen eps 1 - 34, and lately, there have been no flashbacks. The scene in ep 1 (I think) where Atom has just realized that he can fly, and he looks into a reflection in a glass window, but sees Tobio rather than himself, exemplifies these flashbacks.

2. I likewise think that the creators felt the need to distinguish this series from the previous two. Doing so from the very first episode maximizes chances that people will watch it.

However, as I do not live in Japan, I am making assumptions that even with the exitement about Atom's birthday, and so many products not just toys, bearing his image, the producers nevertheless wanted to be sure that nobody would dismiss this third animated series as just a remake of the previous series.

is anyone there whose kind hearted enough to share their videos of astroboy..please iam begging...please... even one video of the series, i would be very much thankful. please...please i dont know how to access the ftps or how to use it so i found another alternative. please you could visit dennis-ian.dyndns.org and you could upload a file in FOLDER TAB. please...... iam down on my knees please..even one videoo...please....

have you tried Anapans FTP?? If you edit the link in the explorer bar to remove the http out of the address it should come up in your browser. I use a download manager called Getright which allows you to resume your downloads wich is very handy with dial up :angry: other than that try cute Ftp or other ftp clients but I find Anapans sight really easy to negotiate. I am using Edonkey to try to find some of the episodes I am missing but I find it very slow but al least I can find wHat Im missing. If I had ADSL I would gladly share my files but I need to win the lottery first

Actually, LouBear, I split the cost of cable with a housemate, and by using a Linksys router, and some lan cables, share the cable internet.

actually iam using getright right now but it seems nothings happening. maybe its because iam behind a proxy server and i dont know how to configure it..

Ok lets see if I remember this right.......If you open up the Configuration screen under options you will see a heading of Internet. Under Internet is Proxy. Fill in the info that you were given to set up the proxy on your system to set up the proxy on getright. I use a proxy server too and I dont seem to have many hassles with using the two together. Hope it helps

do i have to fill up all the info or just part of it. ive tried configuring getright as you have told but all iam getting is a server busy response...is that normal?
