where can I get the 80's Astro Boy (english dubs)video tapes, I'd like to get my hands on them I have all the Japanese astro boy episodes of the 80's version, but I'd like the astro boy in english, since my little brother is really getting into it.

I have all the English dubs for the 80s, and after seeing about half of the Japanese language versions, I am greatly disappointed with the dubs. I live in the US, and my sources have been amazon.com and The Right Stuf (One 'f' only). These are NTSC, however.

english dubs of the 80's of the four tapes I already have are better than the english dub than the new astro boy that I've seen

hell they shoulda changed astro's name to super wizard lucky strpng kid while they were at it

I have mentioned this earlier, but I have all the 80's Astroboy VHS that were released here in Oz. I fully intend on attempting converting these to VCD or possibly even SVCD if the resolution will not get distorted and grainy.

I have no idea how to do this as yet tho. I will have to find the thread here where I was given a lot of links to look up.

I have just recently been watching these tapes thru again. There are 17 tapes in total and i am u to Tape 7 this time around.

Manga Entertainment owns the rights in the USA, Canada and the Uk for the 1980's version of Astro Boy.

if in australia, try http://www.sanity.com.au , for about $19.70 i think. u can also order them in store for $20. this is the only place ive found them in australia atm.
im hoping that when the new series starts here and will make the old series popular again, so places will start selling them again.

I ordered mine from Blockbuster. It took like 6 months but I got them. Expensive though. They were like $30 each - for VHS!
