Why are they shaped like dog heads? Does this mean something? :huh:

Both the manga and the 60s series depict police cars as though they were puppy - shaped bedroom slippers, with eyes, ears, and noses. Who can say why.

inside joke is what the word on the Playground is, but it seems many Japanese animators and storytellers of the past century had used their own inside jokes to be included in storylines, animation etc.
