At least Cartoon Network don't shove 50 billion ads in, and their ad breaks actually match where the Japanese put their ad breaks.OK well my thoughts on the show. Firstly yeah the voices are terrible
I could live with everyone else's but Astro's is sooo bad i will like screaming when i hear it ^^; I mean compare it to the 60's and 80's series that showed.... it sounds so out of place <_<There is also heaps of line changing and adding in lines......like Dr O'Shay talking to his ghost assistant all the time
The changing of lines is so obvious and weird in relation to the animation, like when Atom says to the energy core not to hurt anyone anymore because its bad in a soft voice with that pleading face. Instead Astro demands he stop or he'll be sorry in a rough voice... it doesn't match his face at all ^^;The cuts are kinda annoying and pointless... i really dislike removing that stuff just so we don't see Atom as childlike and his growth from being like a child and learning new things. Instead he sounds like a rebellious teenager and acts like a kid punk.
One thing that really kills the show is the music. In the original it is up-lifting and stands out...the dubbed Astro has such a crummy opening theme and most..... no all of of the music doesn't really stand out at all as anything special or contribute anything to the show.
