Xenomage's Astroboy comic

I thought I'd start a new topic to discuss Xenomage's brilliant Astroboy fancomic, so his work doesn't get cluttered with conversation.

Amazing work so far Xenomage! Do you have the full plot worked out, or are you making it up as you go?
Are we going to see any pictures of Astro featuring your unique design from other threads?

Right now I have only a rough idea as to the over-all plot, but Im making up the dialogue and specifics as I go. Originally LLJade and me were talking about collaborating on the story but I havent heard anything back from that yet (LLJade, check your pm's if you read this! .

There wont be anymore pics based on my own custom design for the duration of the time I spend on the comic because of time restrictions, (as Im sure you've noticed I went with a more traditional design for the comic, as to not alienate anyone) but If you like I can post some of the production steps leading up to the finalized pages...

Interestingly enough I was originally going to do a taller more stylized version of Astro (the one with the edgy joints) for the comic before deciding against it, as you can see in this first draft of page 1 (which you'll also notice I salvaged the cityscape from it for page 2)..

Cool pics! I like! Sorry I took so long to reply to your E-mail, school is evil. I had to rewrite abotu 6 or 7 seven different reports in one week! The teacher hates me for some reason. I don't know why! Anyway, enough of my problmes, do you still want me to help you out?

Xenomage, are you a comic professional or working to be one? People will probably hire you if your this good...

Breakman: This is the first comic book attempt Ive ever done. I have no formal art experience or education (aside from a 6 month certificate in 2D/3D animation, which only had a portfolio submission as a pre-req). Ive been drawing pretty much since I was born and I only do it for fun. The cartoony styles I show here are a small range of my skill which I started developing only recently. I pretty much only did realist work up until I took the animation course.
