I must side with Xenomage. cybotron, the (what is the right word, terms, rhetoric) nomenclature you use would be appropriate in a religious forum, but here, it only serves to confuse people. Suppose I were to speak of Atom in telecommunications terminology, or a brain surgeon were to use the specialized language pertaing to his field in discussing our little friend? All the brain surgeons would relate to that language, but the rest of us would be scratching our heads, wondering what he really said. Now, if you must insist upon relating Atom to a
boddhisattva, at least take the time to include some basic definitions of the terms, or a link to them, as I have just done. Seeing how you write such large posts anyway, it should not be too troublesome for you.
But the way you write your posts is that you use several terms, several concepts, and seemingly ramble on about stuff that only you can understand. Then, if somebody responds and takes issue with one item, your response to that flagellates wildly all over the place.
EX: The last exchange:
Sorry but I'd rather not be subjected to things unless they are in context, and even though Cybotron may see the connections in his own mind I dont think an Astroboy board is the place to put forth religious ideologies (and if you absolutely feel the need to, do so in the general forum.... not that I can tell you what post, thats up to the admins/mods and they dont seem to care..).
My question to you is: Is the connection in my mind.... Or did the Artists intend that meaning from the start. Though I myself say I have not endorsed anything religious. I suppose putting Denkou up for easter, did show lack of concern for some people.... But if you were to talk Astro... It would be impossible.... To not mention it's spiritual plot elements... These are the cornerstones of Astros charm.... That's the "Crown of Solomon"... "What's the Crown of Solomon mommy?"... Can you dig it? All Astroboy is like dripping with Judeo/Christian and Eastern spirit bits.... You have not noticed any? Why let's take the Dragon Fafner... Slain by brave Siegfried... The treasure was his because he took it.... Maybe someone said "Faaaa. There is no such thing as Fafner, or Odin" but the treasure was in Siegfrieds hand... He could hear the birds and he understood what they said... The atheist could never HEAR the birds. Hearing the birds was a divine treaure... This is the same... Hagan is deaf to the music of heavens choir, and wants the world the same way. It's like going into the Louv're and being in your own mind a gtreat artist... And when you see the masters playing with the Heaven... You open your mouth to all the assembled Artists and demand the folly of the Canvasses that portray Solomon on religious or political grounds. There are great treasures in Metro City.... Denkou is passing by them, to steal the "Crown of Solomon"....
Listen... The Birds sing their song for Heaven alone. The flowers regal themselves and parade their wisdom and beauty for the eyes of Heaven alone.... The Kingdom of Heaven is in each of us.... We see what we do know. Astroboy is Honeyed ambrosia... You've got problems since so many people have read the bible and are fans of the study, and will pour in here because of the attraction of Astros story... The Crown of Solomon.... Dude. You want what Orwell called doublethink.
You simply go all over the place without staying on one subject long enough for anyone to make sense of it but yourself. Just because You and I know that the Hero Siegfried whether of the
Saga of the Volsungs or Wagner's
Ring of the Niebelung (and the Niebelungenlied?) tasted the dragon Fafner's blood and was thus enabled to communicate with birds, you write as one whose readers would know this, but many do not.
Please write as though you know that your readers do not know about the same stuff.

On a lighter note,

Uranium has the ability to communicate with animals, & in her first episode (#13), she has a
run in not exactly with a dragon, but a robotic pterodactyl. As I do not understand Japanese, I cannot tell whether Uranu's ability comes as a result of that encounter, or if she had it from the start. She rescues a wounded bird in the beginning, and this bird seems to fill the role of the Woodbird in the Ring. Anyway, having just studied Medieval heroic literature, I found that quite amusing.
