Hey astro lovers,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of some cool downloads of Astro images.

I am wanting to get some images enlarged to be printed up on canvas.
They need to be able to be enlarged.

Just how large do they need to be? I am not sure there ARE any images around that an be blown up too far withough major distortion and degradation of quality.

If anyone knows of such images I would also like to be made aware of them.

If you annot find any images then there are quite a few photoshop geeks on the boards. Mebbe they can help you with enhancing images so the upsizing has as minimal an effect on quality as possible?

Hey, its worth a mention at least, no?

Someone here did a vector drawing of Astro a few months back based on the 80s video poster. I can't remember who it was and I can't find the thread, but they posted several sized windows wallpaper images of it. As raster, but they might still have the vector copy. Anyone know who it was?

This here is the only thread I remember featuring any large sized Astro-pics.

I'm going to have somebody paint an Astro Boy picture on the hood of my on-road RC touring car. I'd try, but I'm not real good at painting considering that the painting would have to be done in reverse because the body gets painted from the inside.

Awesome work, how did you do the shading in the first picture? I can do vectors, but I have trouble colouring them in. Do you drop them to raster layers and do a paint fill?

The shading in the first picture is done by using either a linear or sunburst gradient for the fill of the vector, no need to drop them to raster.
(both pics were done in PSP7 & PSP8)
