Ok, name who you think should play who in an Astroboy movie!
Astroboy: would of course be CG, and would sound like an innocent young child, not some teenage brat.
Skunk: James Urbaniak (The guy in the background)

What about Robbie Coltrane(Hagrid from HP) as Dr Elephun...I think he would be great :wahah: . Jim Carey would have to rate up there for a villan, after all, he wore those green tights in Batman Forever and still looked like a baddy
:wahah: And for Tawashi, maybe Robin Williams or Tom Hanks...great actors that can takw on anything.......Oh well..just a thought

I reckon Christopher Judge (Teal'c from stargate and magneto from x-men evolution) would make a fine Dr Boyton/Tenma...only because his voice can be so deep and mysterious. Also because his tone of voice/character can be misleading as to whether you decide boyton is one madman or evil dude. Hehe.
Now I hope he isn't the VA for the new series because now that I think about it, their voices are very similar. Euh..
I am hoping for a sweet-mannered innocent little boy for Astro!
Robie Coltrane as Dr Elephun? I can see it now...although I'm starting to get some strange ideas about that. It's a nice choice though! His voice would suit his personality and physical appearance! Maybe we could get some nasal vowel's coming out of that giant nose of him too

James Urbaniak would be okay for Skunk, but I reckon
Alan Rickman would be perfect (Die Hard, Galaxy Quest, Snape from Harry Potter). In fact, he'd make a good Dr Tenma too. I think Christopher Judge would act the Tenma part well but he looks too old to be Toby's father.
How about Anthony Hopkins for Dr Elefun? I feel like Robbie Coltrane is a little too rough around the edges to play the minister of science (remember him in Goldeneye too?).
