Does anyone know much about these episodes? I've collected volumes 1-10 but ive found 11-17 extrememy hard to find - even on ebay.
Originally the astro boy videos were released as a set of 10 volumes in 1992 and some time later, several more volumes were released which are much harder to find.
So ideas on finding them would be much appreciated if you're from australia

Please specify an incarnation: 1960s, 1980s, or 2003.

The original 10 volumes were released around 1997. I think it was the 60s series that was released around 1992.

I got mine from Myer/Grace Bros, so you could try there. The distributor Siren Entertainment used to sell them but it looks like they've recently disappeared from their web site.

You might have to wait for the DVD release.

Of course, it was discussed in this thread:

Madman are releasing it this year. It's been announced. The 2003 series is getting released by Columbia. No word on the 60s series.

In september this year, the Astro Boy 40th Anniversary Ultimate Fan Guide should finally get released. I hope they ain't going to cross the deadline this time  <_< .

I recently checked the siren website only weeks ago and they still had most episodes on video for sale for $19.95.

I checked the madman website and there was nothing said about an astroboy DVD release date. The release date list I saw includes dates in late july but nothing was mentioned about astro boy. Although I did hear that they now have the rights to releasing them but it could be a while - maybe august/september.

I checked too and it was there, but now there's nothing.

I searched their site and couldn't find a release date either. It was just listed under Supanova Madman Entertainment Panel 2004.

Something else worth mentioning is that Siren lost their licences to release Battle Of The Planets and Star Blazers to Madman Entertainment. I wonder if Astroboy went with them?
