I was at Newberry Comics yesterday and found three 5" Astroboy figures. One was Astro with a light up blaster with removable hands, an Astro you put together, and an Atlas with Lightup eyes. I didn't see any others but there is also one with light up rocket boots out there. They were 10 bucks each. Sorry, I couldn't buy them. I was getting a father's day present so I have no pictures but as soon as I get them, you guys will be the first to know.

Sounds cool! I'd really like to see them
I'm curious as to what Atlas looks like, in figure form
I wish I could find Zoran figures (already got Uran, old series)

I'm not even sure if they made a Zoran figure. I hope so. I'd like one too.

Lol, you sound like a friend of mine, as soon as i say anything aboout astroboy she imediatley says "my daichi!" its prety sad actualy, she deliberately hasnt seen the second atlas episode because she dosent want to see him die.

Well, I have some good news for your friend. He didn't die in that episode. All he did was float off into space. You DO see him again in episode 37. I heard he makes a few more appearances after that, but I'm not sure, I certinally hope he does. But anyway, tell your friend that Daichi is alive and well.

i got mine (rocket boots) at toys r us. $7.95 ban dai #14302
he's slightly shorter but much thinner, like he was put on a diet compared to the old "medicom miracle action figure" only his arms are jointed at the shoulders, but his legs light up and have interchangeable flames/boot feet. he stands up with the feet and looks upward at just the rite angle. the paint work and plastic are excellent

I think she knows that he is alive, thats whats so sad about it, she knows he dosent die but she dosent want to see him get sucked out into space <_<
