Swiss TV channel TSR 1 is going to broadcast the Astroboy series starting on 30. August.

TSR 1 Schedule

It is named as "Astro, le petit robot", thus it'll be in french language.
I can't hardly await to hear Astro's french voice .

I don't know for sure whether it's going to be the 03' or 80's version though, most likely the 03' version since I sent an email to TSR 1 a few months ago, and this is what they replied:

But I see they say "52 new adventures in color"... The 80s where already in color

Yes, but "52 new adventures in color", so I suppose it's gotta be the 03'version.
If it is going to be the 80's - I'd have no problem with that B) .

I would take it anyway
... if we received it I have just checked: we receive SWF3 that seems to be a Swiss channel, but no TSR is on sight
I know the last time they published it only once, I don't wanna miss my only occasion to see it live AND in French

Do you know anybody who can tape it for you? (Maybe per satellite dish)?

I'm afraid not... No one I know can receive this channel
I have even looked through all the channels we receive in the hope they just had omitted it in the official list (this is the case for some channels). Nothing

:wahah: It's definately the new version they're going to televise. I just had a look on their webpage TSR les zap. This site's all in french, but for those who don't understand it: You may translate it with google (crappy as hell though, but who cares ).

I really look forward to Astro's french voice, I sincerely hope it'll be A LOT better than the english puberty teenage dub.

Just this morning while watching the TV I saw a preview of a new emission for the next week, and in it I saw fewer than 1/2 second ( oh wait... less than 1/2 second ) that came from the opening sequence of Astroboy of the 2000s
I just checked on the TV schedule, it will go each wednesday morning on France 3. Unfortunately it will be at an hour when I am already out for work Well at least I will have the opportunity to record it

I checked the France 3 schedule too. You're right! It starts on wednesday morning in a programme called 'France Truc', somewhere between 7:00 to 10:20.

Some french TVstations finally catching on, it was about bl***y time!
