ok now, i've noticed that the English version of the show is comming out on DVD, but what i want is the JAP version with Eng Subs, Bottom Line the eng version SUCKS! its all cut to buggery, has terrible voice acting, and has the worse title sequence/intro ever!

What versions of import dvds have people bought?

I've had one before which was a bootleg, and featured the TV rips of the show, with CRAP eng subbing

I am now thinking of grabbing this one:

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Okay, for starters, you shouldn't go bashing around the English dub. I understand you have your opinion and I respect that, but not everyone can watch subtitles. I happen to be one of those people and secondly, I think the English dub was done very well. So well in fact that I'm getting the DVDs that are coming out in Australia. I live in the US, so those count as import for me.

Item description indicates a weight of 560 g, which is just about 1.25 pounds.

The price is simply too good to be true. If the thing is indeed only 360 minute, then it can have no more than 15 episodes on it. The one reviewer mentions figures included with the discs:

If these are really in there, I suspect even more than before, that something is not right.

Go for it & let us know.

There seems to be a positive english review of the DVD on the site. Most likely from a fan. I would love for this to be the Japanse version with quality english subtitles.

I'm looking forward to the english DVD's too :) Does anyone know how many episodes are on each volume... ezydvd.com.au had it for $20....and somehow that sounded rather ominous to me . .

I've never seen the original so I can't compare dub v sub

Please let me know if the dub you get is the same as that shown on TV. I have downloaded an English dubbed first episode that was not. & it had all the scenes that other had complained about being edited out. I put a thread about it somewhere, maybe I will find it & put the hyperlink here.

Well, I'm getting the ones from Sanity.com, so I would guess that the English dub would be the same one that's on TV. At least I hope so.
