Hello to all, last year on cdjapan, the soundtrack of the 1980s serie was available, but they really really had only a few in stock, cause quickly the Cd became 'out of stock'...

Anybody knows an online store other than cdjapan and yahoo auctions where I could buy that EXCELLENT OST, all those musics were beautifuls...

PS : Here's what the CD looks like:

Hi Urusei,

I think I have that on order from Amazon.com. You can also get it at Towerrecords.com. Both have lots of Astro and Tezuka soundtracks. There's also Amazonjp. good luck. ;)

Thanks for the anwser,

could you be just a little more specific about amazon.com?

Most of the Astroboy CDs have no pictures, so it's hard to tell wich one.

Here's the link:

Thanks

Yes I can be more specific. I just got that cd today from tower records, but I checked there site just now and there is no more, must have bought the last one they had.
But I did see it still listed at amazon. The title of the cd is: Astro Boy: Original Sound Track. It's on an obscure label called For Life.

 Man, this cd rocks. Just got through listening to it. It's funky. A nice mix of Rock, Funk, Pop, Jazz and Disco. I especially love Uran's theme Uran Chan, think it's track no. 8. It's got words to it, with women singing in Japanese Uran Chan, Uran Chan... Cute. All the music with words is in the original Japanese. Also it's in STEREO with liner notes telling you where to position the speakers for best stereo effect.
The cd comes in a mini LP style cover which is a gatefold cover that has a nice centerfold of Astro and the gang, including a child Atlas. It also comes with to small posters of Astro and co. I think there was a thread some time ago where someone posted a pic of it with posters too. Good luck. ;)
