I am tired of the questions posed by other members, so I came up with a few of my own. Some of them are based solely on Atom, while others involve other works.
  • Manga question: Name one (1, uno) manga story featured in the 23 volume Darkhorse set, in which Atom (the actor) plays a human.
  • Incarnations Question: A story entitled Astro's First Love is featured in both the manga & the 80s anime. Are these the same story?
  • Asimiv Question: According to Astroboy Chronicles (manga 6-8) & I. Asimov's Caves of Steel, what unusual feature do both Atom & R. (robot) Daneel Olivaw have in common?
  • Terminator Question: What character in the manga has the same morphing ability as the T-1000?
  • Belly Button Question: Which manga story shows Atom's pants falling down & exposing his belly button?
:wahah:
Our contestants are "Karl Marx, founder of modern socialism, and author of the 'Communist Manifesto'... Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov, better known to the world as Lenin, leader of the Russian Revolution, writer, statesman, and father of modern communism... Che Guevara, the Cuban guerrilla leader... And Mao Tse-tung, leader of the Chinese Communist Party since 1949." (Communist quiz/World Forum).

Seriously though, anwsers are to be submitted on $20 bills sent to:
Make Jeffbert happy
po box xyz
etc, etc.

I will consider the first correct answer of each to be the winner. Since I cannot stop you from consulting references, feel free to do so. Other than that, no cheating allowed.

Yes, that is correct for 50 points. Both Atom & R. Daneel eat, but dispose of what they have eaten in neat plastic bags. Now, for the bonus question:

What characteristic is common to that bagged substance from Atom and R. Daneel?

They don't chew it. Although Astro did chew it in the first episode of the 1960s, the donut he "ate" was intact.
Err, yes I consulted a reference to get such a detail

I hope I could answer more than one question. ;^^

1.) I think you are talking about Volume 22...? Oh well, I guess I'll get this one incorrect then... Astro plays as an unnamed human boy in the story "You're Guilty!". His older brother was stabbed and he goes to Dr. BlackJack for help.

2.) No, they are not the same story. The cartoon version is an actual story with a character named Nikki. The manga version is just a "gag" mini comic with an unnamed female robot.

3.) The story is called "Astro 2". (I didn't like that one. Poor Astro's image! ;)

Sorry to have been so late here, but without checking, I would say Breakman's answers are correct. I am certain on all but #3.

Fafner's answer seems incorrect. What I expected to see was the fact that the contents of the plastic bags may be far from appetizing, they are in both cases, fit for human consumption.

Here is R. Daneel, himself:

"The food is perfectly clean. I do not salivate or chew. It is drawn in though the gullet by suction, you know. It is edible.” *

So, R. Daneel does not chew, but what of Atom?

As to Atom's not chewing, refer to the animated gifs:

New questions to come soon!

Question:

Of the actors and actresses, Atom, Kenichi, Melmo, Mitchy, Pipy, Rock, & Sapphire, name one factor common to the roles each has played. The common thing of which I am thinking has nothing to do with the sex of the character, or whether the role is for a human, animal, or robot.

[Jeopardy music begins now]

For the answers to this question, consult the Actors' World. It also helps to be familiar with the anime & manga in which they have appeared.

All but one question has been answered. Somebody at least guess abot the Terminator Question.

"Terminator Question: What character in the manga has the same morphing ability as the T-1000?"

I must file a contestation, even if it is symbolic :P
My answer is on an inconsistent fact: Astro did chew the food but it remains intact. So did he technically chew it or not? :D
Anyway now I remember more precisely what R. Daneel had said. After all, I had read "Caves of Steel" a good decade ago, it is normal that my memory is not so clear ;)

Speaking of technical... Did you capture each frame one by one or did you use a software to capture the whole animation? I wanted to include the animation, but my only solution so far is to capture each frame one by one, and I am too lazy for that :o
