Does anyone here live in the Washington, D.C. metro area. My family and friends aren't into Astro or Tezuka at all. His stuff is either to old or to foriegn, so I'm all alone with my Astro and Tezuka watching. Except for this site, which is like a sanctuary to me, I can't share the love and ethics of Tezuka. I'd like very much to hook up with someone or a group of people in my area and share some Astro or Tezuka stuff, like a party or something.

I live in Rhode Island but it's nice to see someone here who's at least in the US. Nearly everyone here seems to be from Austrailia. :huh:

For those of you who want to hook up, email me. I live in Montgomery County Maryland, Gaithersburg to be exact. Small world isn't it Jeffbert. I had no idea you lived right here in Montgomery County. We could watch lots of anime and eat tons of ramen noodles, Astro likes them.
Also we could invite lots of friends and have an Astro/anime party.

It's really a big question that Australians patronize Astro a lot maybe we should call it Astrolia instead

That's funny Adrian,
You have a point though. I think Australia is the only English speaking country to be as obsessed with Astro as Asia is. I wish the U.S. was into Astro and other Tezuka shows like they were in the 60's.

I live Just outside G'burg in Laytonsville. I frequntly go to LFM's food court for chess.
