Somebody should share the first DVD of the Australian release of the 80s series on bittorrent. I just want to be able to watch one on my tv.

I'd like to buy it, but I'd have to do something about the PAL format. :huh: Somebody told me a bit about it here last month, so I'll try to see what I can do now.

While we are speaking about the DVD release, I've only seen the first two episodes in the Japanese with Chinese subtitles. It's easy to figure out what is happening, but I would still like to know what is said. I'm especially curious about what Livian, Atlas and Toby (Astro) say to each other.

I thought all the episodes were on Anapan's FTP server. Someone less lazy than I should find the thread about that and link if here for our Episode Searching friend.

I would like to see the episode 37 of the 2003 series of Astroboy...

Anapan has not many 2000s episodes. For what I know he/she does not like them very much, not enough to allocate hard disk space.
I happen to have episode 37, but only in French. The torrent allowing to download it is on my FTP server. All the torrents contain several episodes, but most bittorrent clients allow to unselect unwanted files.

None of these servers allow to download episodes from the DVDs though, only VHS or TV rips

Nothing beats DVD quality. B) (apart from live action, but kind of hard to come by!

Try a good video rental store. I found one about 20 minutes away and they have masses of anime and TV episodes. Like all of Dr Who, Star Trek, Excel Saga, DBZ, tons of obscure anime series, etc. They have some Astroboy too.
I find the small rental stores don't carry much, particularly anime (when they call it manga, you know they won't have much).
