:) I just created a little crossover to provoke a smile or two:

Image
Greek: "Imagine not that these four walls...

Image
...contain the Mighty Owl of Thebes. For, gentles all,...

Image
...beauty sits most closely...

Image
...to them it can construe."

Image
Astro: "No it doesn't!"

Image
Greek: "Sorry." (he exits)

@#ç%&$£* subtitles! I couldn't switch them out since these frames are taken from a VHS tape. <_<

There's hardly any feedback here. Is this topic too silly?

I just don't get it... I don't know what the "Pythons" are. But nice graphic work! :)

You must be very young. The Pythons are a comedy group, much like the cast of Saturday Night Live, who perform really weird, but often funny skits. They made a few movies, too:

Life of Brian: parodies Gospels, makes a nobody mistaken for the messiah.
Yellow Beard: parodies Red Beard, somewhat funny story of a pirate.
MP & the Holy Grail: do I need to describe this?
Jaberwocky: weird.
Time Bandits: weird.
The Meaning of Life: musical comedy.

TV: Monty Python's Flying Circus: weird skits as described above.
Episode guide

I see. I don't know what you mean by "very young", but I'm in my late twenties. ;) I think that it has maybe more to do with the fact that I live in Québec. I imagine this just hasn't really cross the cultural border here because I had never heard of them. Or maybe am I truly ignorant!

I think The Life of Brian is their best work, although not particularly representative of their style.
Didn't realise they did Time Bandits.

Monty Python's Flying Circus is a British comedy show from the late 60's to the early 70's with movies made in the 70's like Monty Python and the Holy Grail(the best), which Led Zepplin help finance. That plus Benny Hill are the best British comedy shows to hit America(in my opinion anyway).
Both are out on dvd. Check them out.

I think the Pythons were at their best in their 60's/early 70's comedy series.
Terry Gilliam's drawings and animations were so weird and surreal, they're even ingenious again.
If one considers the time at when they did come up with that stuff... ,
I mean, the humor those series are showing partly still is weird for nowadays.

Anyway, here are some other mixings:

"I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night and I work all day..."
