Awesome! I think Lynn posted a picture earlier, it's great to see a trailer. B)

Hopefully it'll end up like DBZ with a dozen or so movies. :D

Can anyone translate the title accurately? I think it might be "Visiting the person at 10,000 light years".

I just thought I'd add an opinion, so don't take this as anything more than that: I don't think this will be replacing the Sony CGI Astroboy movie. I think it's entirely separate.

google translation

This appears to be a continuation of the series, rather than a remake of Atom's story.

I can't imagine this new series without Tenma though. Looking back, I realize that I was interested more in him than in Astro.

But if the Japaneses could do as they please, who knows how great it could be anyway! :wahah:

Hey all,

I just watched the preview and read the google translation. :wahah: Ohh man, I'm on a high! That was beautiful, I can't wait 'till this comes out on dvd. I bet it won't be released in the states though, either in theaters or on dvd, it'll be another one of those dvds I buy from Japan with no subs, but that's ok. ;) Yes!, I thought we'd seen the last of the current Astro in 2004. Yes Tezuka prod., keep making new Astro, we need him, especially after the recent terror attacks. The more crazy the world gets, the more we need his innocence and ethics.

His ethics would require him going after and taking these freaks down.
