I wonder how robots would be able to appreciate music though.
Probably the same way they would care for other robots or humans

A robot with kokoro should be able to appreciate music

By the way, how about classical music? Wouldn't Astro prefer soft tones instead of today's hard tones?

Yeah, ok... "soft" and "hard" are highly subjective

I was thinking of people with Cochlear implant, for example. I thought they couldn't enjoy music, but I just checked and apparently some of them can, so maybe a robot with an artificial hearing system could too.
I bet Astro would have better memories of Carmen than In the Hall of the Mountain King!

Speaking of the latter, *everytime* I watch
The Robot Vikings, this music sticks in my head.
