I couldn't change the title when I made the last topic because I couldn't think of one, so I decided to make another one. I'm taking all the chapters from the other topic and posting them here. This also goes for ppl who haven't read any new chapters or for new members. Hope you'll like it.

Chapter One

It all starts off where Dr. Tenma, a robot engineer, starts awaking another robot. It’s been days since he’s been working on trying to awaken it, but so far, he’s still been trying to get the robot to awaken. The robot looked cold and pale, with its clothes stripped, and dark, gray hair. This was a robot found hidden in a deep, dark, trench, under the sea, and Tenma found it and tries to revive it back. *Come on,* Tenma says in his mind. *Awaken!* Even though he tries to revive it, it was hopeless. Tenma then slams his hands, shaped into fists, onto the robot capsule. “Something must be missing,” Tenma said, in a puzzled mood. “but what?” Later on, he notices that a hole was found on the middle of the robot’s forehead. Tenma finally realizes that the robot won’t wake up unless something was inserted into the hole on its forehead. Tenma looks everywhere around the robot to find the object, and then, all of a sudden, he heard a sound of some sort bounce and then rolled onto the floor and near his feet.

Tenma looked down and noticed a small, orange-colored, spherical-shaped jewel on the floor, and then picked it up. “This must be something that needs to be inserted into the hole on its forehead.” Tenma said. He inserts the jewel into the robot’s forehead, and then tries to awaken it again. This time, it worked, but something triggered the computer systems, and caused them to overload. Tenma was in shock. He suddenly realizes that this robot can’t be revived using energy. The computer and all of its systems overloaded and then exploded. Tenma’s latest projects, he had been also working on were destroyed, too. The robot capsule was destroyed, and the robot then awakened, its body was crackling with blue sparks all over its body, and started giving off powerful discharges of a chrome-like structure, all around the room. Tenma noticed all of the destruction the robot was causing, and said, “It seems that the jewel powers up the robot, not the energy I give it!” Pieces from the wall and ceiling are starting to fall, and they’re starting to cave in. Tenma couldn’t find an exit, until suddenly, the robot notices that Tenma was in danger. It flew over to him as quick as its can, picked him up, the robot then created a force field to prevent the pieces of wall and ceiling wouldn’t hit them, and found an exit to escape out of.

Dr. Tenma was glad that the robot saved him, but by the time the robot put Tenma safely on the ground, the robot was then hit by a piece of the ceiling from Tenma’s Lair, causing it to accidentally drop Tenma within two feet, onto the ground. The robot somehow gets weaker from all of the power it uses from the jewel if used too much. The robot then took a little glance, at Tenma, gave off a little smile, and started flying off into the woods, feeling tired. Tenma was amazed that the robot he found would create that much power. “Amazing,” Tenma said. “A robot that powerful could be useful.” He then realizes that if he uses the robot’s power, he could take over Metro City!

Chapter Two

The robot, Tenma activated, was flying, to walking, then to crawling in the woods, getting weaker and losing power by the minute. The robot then reached an unexpected road after crawling out from the woods. Even though it was just out of power, a car unexpectedly drove out of nowhere, and was heading towards the robot. The robot heard it was coming, and it was about to get hit, until suddenly, the robot used its power, once more, and fired a huge power surge of the chrome-like structure, right at the car. The driver tried to slow down, but it was too late. The chrome-like structure hit the car, and the car was blasted high in the sky. The robot was extremely tired from using its powers again, and needed to find somebody to help it. It started to fly again, weakly, and started to head towards the nearest city, Metro City. The robot was just about out of power, until it found Dr. O’shay’s house, and planted itself on the front lawn. The robot shut down, and some of the chrome-like structure, covered over some grass and flowers around its body.

This morning, Zoran was wide awake, and headed outside to check on the flowers she planted, until she screamed. Astro and Dr. O’shay heard her scream, and headed outside to see what her problem was. All three of them spotted a robot body on the front lawn. They were surprisingly amazed. “What is it?” Zoran asked. “Looks like a robot to me,” Astro said. Dr. O’shay took a closer look at the robot. “Amazing,” he said, looking at the robot’s surroundings. “I believe this robot created its surroundings when it shut down.” “And it covered the flowers I just planted yesterday,” Zoran said, acting a little frustrated. Astro picked up the robot and handed it to Dr. O’shay. “You might want to take this robot to the Ministry of Science,” he said. “just to see if you can revive it.” “I’ll try the best I can,” Doctor said. “other than that, Astro, you be on your way to school. If you want, you can tell your friends about this.” “Yes, sir,” Astro said. Astro runs inside the house and starts to get dressed. “Zoran,” Doctor says to her. “I need you to do one big favor for me.” “I’m listening,” Zoran said. “I need to show Inspector Tawashi photos of the robot’s surroundings. Since I might be late for work, I don’t have time to take pictures of them. Can you take a few shots of the robot’s crash site, and then send them to him?” Zoran thinks for a little bit. “How?” she asked. “I don’t know where he lives.” “Get your pet bird, Houdini, to help you,” Doctor said. “he’ll find him and give the pictures to him without you giving them to him.” “Okay!” Zoran says happily, and then ran inside the house to get a camera. Doctor put the robot in his car, and drove towards the Ministry.

Zoran grabbed the camera from the kitchen drawer, and headed back outside. Astro also headed outside and spotted Zoran taking a few shots of the robot’s crash site. “I hope the robot’s all right,” Astro said. “Yeah, he or she is going to pay for ruining my flowers!” Zoran said, still frustrated. “Forget about the flowers, Zoran,” Astro said. “You can plant in new ones, later. Speaking of which, I have to go to school and tell my friends about what happened here this morning.” “Bye, Astro,” Zoran said. Astro flew away using his jets. After Zoran took the pictures of the robot’s crash site, she then noticed Houdini, her pet bird, fly down from the sky and landed on her arm. “Why, hello, Houdini,” Zoran said surprised. Houdini squawked. “Listen, I need you to run a little errand for me. Could you give these pictures I took to Inspector Tawashi?” Zoran showed the pictures to Houdini. “I’ll give you some bird seed once you’ve come back.” Houdini chirped happily, grabbed the pictures from Zoran’s hand, and then flew off. “Good luck, Houdini!” she said, and then thinks about the robot. “I hope that robot’s okay, though.”

4:Zircon's story begins

Chapter Three

At the Ministry of Science, Dr. O’shay did some research on the shut down robot. He then notices a jewel on its head. “Interesting,” he said. “maybe this robot is powered by that jewel.” Doctor cleaned off the dirt from the robot’s body, and gave it a little charge of energy. After the energy was given to the robot, the robot’s arm starts moving, then, its whole body moved. Doctor was amazed that the robot was moving completely. The robot then moved its upper part of its body forward. The robot’s gray hair turned into bright, rainbow-colored hair. Dr. O’shay took a glance at the robot, until it finally opened its eyes. “Where am I?” the robot asked. “You’re in the Ministry of Science,” Doctor said. “You were revived here.” The robot looks around the Ministry in the area it was just awakened. “Was I born here?” it asked. “Well, actually,” Doctor tries to think up an answer to answer the robot’s question. “You weren’t really born here. I just revived you.” “Oh,” the robot said, a little puzzled. “By the way,” Doctor said. “Do you have a name?” The robot looks at Dr. O’shay. “Yes, my name is Zircon.” Doctor smiles at Zircon. “That’s a nice name for a robot,” he said. “Do you know when you were created?” “I can’t remember,” Zircon said. “I can even remember who created me.” Dr. O’shay crosses his arms, and then puts a hand on Zircon’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, Zircon,” Doctor said. “Until you can remember who created you, why don’t you stay at my house for now?” Zircon smiles and says, “Oh, thank you! That’d be great!” “By the way, you can call me Dr. O’shay, or Doctor, if you like,” Doctor said. “Okay!” Zircon said happily.

Doctor suddenly acts surprised and then says, “Oh! I almost forgot! Now that you’re awake, I can tell Astro and Zoran about you!” “Who are Astro and Zoran?” Zircon asked. “They’re robots you will be meeting at my house,” Doctor said as he looks at his watch. “Astro should be home at any time now. He was at school for a few hours.” “School?” Zircon asked. “I don’t think I remember going to school before. Could you someday enroll me there?” “Of course, Zircon!” Doctor said surprised. “Until then, let’s just head home so you can meet Astro and Zoran!”

Chapter Four

By the time Dr. O’shay and Zircon got home, and then entered the door, Zoran was drawing in a coloring book, and Astro was reading the newspaper. Both Astro and Zoran looked up and said, “Hi, Doctor!” “Hello, you two,” Doctor said. “There’s someone I want you two to meet. It’s the robot that we found and then revived.” Astro and Zoran looked around until Zircon popped out behind Doctor’s back. “Astro, Zoran, this is Zircon,” Doctor said. Zircon shyly said, “Hello,” to Astro and Zoran. “So,” Astro said. “It was a girl robot we found.” “Yes,” Doctor said. “Zircon hasn’t been in Metro City before, so tomorrow, we’ll show her around.” “Okay!” said both Astro and Zoran. “But,” Astro said a little confused. Doctor was stunned and then turned his head towards Astro. “What’s the matter?” he said. “I don’t understand how Zircon got on our front lawn,” Astro said. Zircon’s mouth partly opened. “Hmm, that’s what I’m also trying to figure out,” Doctor said, and turns is head towards Zircon. “Zircon, how did you end up on our front lawn?” Zircon sighed walked over to the couch to sit down. “Well,” she began. “I hardly remember anything, but I can tell you what I know.” Astro, Zoran, and Dr. O’shay also sat down either on the couch or chair.

Zircon begins telling her story. “I don’t remember who my creator is, but he or she conducted an experiment showing what it would be like if a robot mostly run on jewel power. That same person started to create me. Even though that person was trying to create me, he or she couldn’t find a jewel powerful enough to awake me. He or she tried jewels from diamonds to rubies, but still, none of them worked. I f that person wanted to awake me so much, he or she started looking everywhere around the world.” “I see,” Doctor said. “Do you know any places your creator looked?” “I would say the areas from North to South America,” Zircon said. “Do you know any exact areas where your creator looked?” Astro asked. “I don’t think so,” she said. “Continue!” Zoran said impatiently. “It’s starting to get exciting!” “Patients, Zoran,” Astro said to Zoran. “Give it time, and Zircon will continue.”

“He or she looked everywhere and has been traveling for years trying to find something that could awake me, until he or she found a small, mysterious jewel. That person then searched for this typical jewel in a certain book of jewels or gems. It was known to be called, an Adrenaline Jewel: a jewel that people say it gives off mysterious sources of energy.” “Wow!” Zoran said. “I never heard of a jewel like that before,” Astro said, confused. “That’s because this jewel is now extinct,” Zircon said to Astro. “I’m the only robot who has this jewel, now.” “When did this jewel exist?” Doctor asked.” “If I can remember, I’d say about two million years ago,” Zircon said. “Wow! That’s a lot of years!” Zoran said surprised. “That jewel existed that long?” Astro asked. “I believe so,” Zircon said. “The jewel was discovered right after one volcano erupted, and it somehow created the jewel from the mix of lava, and the structure on the side of the volcano.” “Go on,” Doctor said. “When he or she had the jewel, he or she took it back to the lab, and then inserted the jewel into my forehead. He or she then noticed that I wasn’t waking up. So, he or she had another idea in mind, by giving me some energy. By accident, he or she gave me too much energy, and the jewel started to give off a shocking force fields and sparks, all around me.” Astro and Zoran gasped. “How could that person do such a thing to you like that?” Zoran asked. “Probably because he or she has been working so hard trying to awake me, he or she was probably going to give up on me,” Zircon said. Suddenly, Astro, Zoran, and Dr. O’shay all gasped.

Chapter Five:Tenma was introduced in Zircon's story

“That’s insane!” said Astro, acting frustrated. “That person should be arrested for doing something like that to you!” yelled Zoran. “Don’t go over the top, you guys,” Zircon said. “It’s alright, besides, I’m still here, aren’t I?” Astro crosses his arms and sighs. “I guess,” he said. *I don’t understand,* Doctor thought. *Why would a creator do something like that to a robot he or she who wants to awake?* Zircon continues. “When I was going out of control, he or she was told, from other assistants, that this robot was too dangerous, and he or she had to give up on awaking me. In the end, I was shut down, and then was tossed into the ocean.” Astro got up from the couch, halfway raised up his arms and said, “Why would someone do that to you?!?” Zoran, Doctor and Zircon gasped at Astro. “Because from what my creator did, the jewel got in control, and started sparking and blasting huge ounces of energy, and the other scientists thought it was a malfunction,” Zircon said. Astro put his down his arms, and tilted his head down. *Why would that person do this?* Astro thought. *Zircon was the only project her creator had in mind of doing, and he or she had no choice but to give up?* Zircon started to remember something and visualized it: A close picture of Dr. Tenma’s face!

She gasped, and the others noticed her. “What’s wrong, Zircon?” Doctor asked. “I just remembered something,” Zircon said. Astro sat back down and asked, “What is it?” “I just had a vision showing someone’s face, but I can’t state the name,” Zircon said, a little confused. “Can you describe it to us?” asked Zoran. “Well, I believe this person had dark, black hair, a little bit close to spike hair in the front, and the same, but smaller, on his chin.” Doctor, Astro, and Zoran looked at each other, thinking, and then they all yelled, “TENMA!”

Chapter 6:Astro's story was introduced

“Tenma?” Zircon asked. “Who’s Tenma?” Doctor turned his head towards Zircon and says, “Tenma was a robot engineer. Even though it’s been months since the robot law has passed, he’s now and is still trying to get robots to rule over humans.” Astro and Zoran nodded to agree with Dr. O’shay. “So that’s Tenma,” Zircon said. “It’s been months since he’s still trying to make it happen,” Astro said. “I don’t know why, or how, but he all of a sudden gave up on not making me the king of all robots, and now, he’s still trying to make that happen.” “What made him change his mind?” Zircon asked. “We’re not sure,” Doctor said. “We’re still trying to figure that out.” “I had something in mind with him,” said Zircon. “What was it?” asked Astro. “I believe he tried to awake me again yesterday,” The other three gasped and said, “HIM?!?” out loud. “Yeah,” Zircon continues. “I believe he found me near the bottom the ocean, and must’ve tried to awaken me then.” When he awakened me, I also went out of control because he gave me too much energy. I seemed given off a little smile to him after I saved him a collapsing building, and for awaking me. Even though I was awakened, and still malfunctioned, he seemed to have been a great person to me.” “You’re wrong, Zircon.” Doctor said. “But, Doctor, he still awakened me, other than my creator, who shut me down, and dumped me into the ocean,” Doctor clutched his hands and bangs them on the table. “No, Zircon! Don’t you ever call Tenma a great person! He may be someone who may have helped awaken you, but I don’t trust him, and you shouldn’t either!” Zircon gasped, tilted her head down, and sadly said, “I’m sorry.” Doctor got up from his chair, walked over to Zircon, and put his hand one Zircon’s shoulder. “Listen,” he began. “I’m sorry I yelled at you, but there’s a huge problem between Tenma and me.” Zircon looked up at Doctor as he continues on.

“Let’s just say that Tenma and I are, enemies,” “How?” Zircon asked. “Well, we started acting as enemies all because of Astro.” Zircon turned to look at Astro. “What’s so important about him?” she asked. “Tenma created him, and by the time people found out the robot was going to be dangerous, he set a hidden building, known to be his “lair”, on fire, and it was then collapsed and destroyed by the fire.” “But what happened to Astro?” Zircon asked. “Astro was found, locked up in a capsule. Somebody had to bring it back to life, so I took the job.” Doctor looked at his watch. “Listen, it’s getting late, we need to get to bed so we can show you around Metro City tomorrow.” Astro and Zircon managed to say “Okay” right after saw Zoran head up the stairs, feeling tired. Before Astro and Zircon went upstairs, Doctor stops Zircon and says, “Zircon, Astro and I have been wondering, that when we have guests over, we would have them sleep in a guest bed. That’s why; I ordered a guest bed for you to sleep in a few days ago. It had just arrived this morning, and it’s in Astro’s room.” Zircon smiled and happily said, “Thank you, Doctor! You’re the only person I know so far who is truly nice to robots!” Doctor smiled as Zircon and Astro went up the stairs. *Such an amazing robot,* Doctor thought. *And this robot also has a heart of its own.*

Chapter 7: Zircon stays at Doctor’ House

When Astro and Zircon were heading up the stairs and then into the Astro’s bedroom, Astro noticed Zircon sitting on the guest bed, and not feeling very happy anymore. “What’s wrong, Zircon?” he asked. “Aren’t you glad that Doctor said you can stay here?” “Yeah, but,” Zircon said. “What?” “Well, I did understand what Doctor said, about Tenma, but what if Tenma comes back to get me for revenge?” “What do you mean?” Astro asked. “Yesterday, after I saved him and everything, I overheard him saying, ‘with the power that I hold, he could use it to destroy Metro City!’” Astro gasped. “That’s crazy!” he yelled. “How did you bring that up?” “That’s what I heard before I completely left the area,” Zircon said. “If Tenma does this, it might be the end of me.” Astro noticed that a tear dropped from Zircon face, then sighed. “So, you’re serious about this,” he said, carefully. “What am I going to do, Astro?” she asked. Astro walked across the room to sit down on Zircon’s bed, and then put both hands on both of her shoulders. “Don’t worry, Zircon,” he said. “It’ll be okay. Besides, we’re going to show you around Metro City, and I really don’t want this problem to get to your head. Your problem may come true, but don’t let this problem ruin your day tomorrow. Got it?” “I understand,” Zircon said, wiping the tear off her face. “Good,” said Astro. “Now, let’s go to sleep. We’ve got a big day ahead of us tomorrow.” Zircon’s frown turned into a little smirk. “Thanks Astro,” she said. “That really meant a lot to me.” Astro sighs, took his hands off of Zircon’s shoulders, and then smiles. “I’m glad we got that of the way,” he said.

The next morning, Zircon woke up happy as ever. From what Astro told her yesterday, she mostly forgot everything about what Tenma might do to her. She then headed downstairs, dressed, and noticed that Astro, Zoran, and Doctor were already downstairs, awake before her. “Good morning,” they all said. Zircon smiles happily. “Did you sleep well last night?” Astro asked. “Yes,” Zircon said. “I haven’t had any bad dreams either.” Astro smiled and then asks, “Well, are you ready to go?” Zircon happily closed her closed her eyes, smiling, and said, “Yes,” and then looked at Doctor and Zoran. “Well, what are you waiting for? Let’s go!” Doctor and Zoran looked at each other and gave out a little laugh. “Alright, Zircon,” Doctor said. “We’re not in a hurry; we’re just waiting for you to wake up, so we all could leave.” Zircon was jumping up and down. “Doctor, let’s go before she blows a gasket.” Astro said laughing. Doctor looks at Zircon. “Alright, let’s go!”

Chapter 8: Zircon meets Astro’s Friends

The four gathered into the air car and left the house. Zircon and Zoran gazed out the car window. “Wow!” Zircon said, smiling. “Oh!” Doctor said, surprised. “I almost forgot your going to be enrolled in Astro’s school tomorrow! Listen, I’ll drop you, Astro, and Zoran off at Central City to look around, while I shop for your supplies.” The others happily said, “Okay” just before the air car landed. Astro, Zoran, and Zircon waved at Dr. O’shay when he headed into Central City. “Okay, Zircon, how about we show you around Central City first?” Astro asked. Zircon turned towards Astro and said, “That’d be great!” When the three were just about to walk into Central City, they all heard a few voices coming from behind. “Hey, Astro!” Astro turned around to see, so did Zoran and Zircon. Alejo, Kennedy, and Abercrombie appeared from behind, running towards Astro, Zoran, and Zircon. “Astro!” Kennedy yelled. “I’d never thought you’d be here!” Alejo said, surprised. Abercrombie didn’t say anything, until he noticed that another robot was standing next to Zoran, and then he yelled. “What is that thing?!” he asked yelling, and also ran behind Kennedy’s back. Zoran pointed at Zircon and said, “Oh,” she said. “You mean her? That’s Zircon. We found her on Doctor’s front lawn, and he the revived her. She was shut down when we found her.” Astro’s friends looked at Zircon closely. “What’s that jewel on her head?” Kennedy asked. Zircon touched the jewel softly on her head. “This is known as the Adrenaline Jewel,” she said, smiling. “It holds most of my powers and energy in order to stay alive. If this jewel were to come out of my head, I would shut down.” Astro’s friends gasped except for Kennedy. He was thinking about Zircon’s crash landing. “Zircon,” he said. “How did you end up on Dr. O’shay’s lawn?” Zircon’s happiness turned upside-down.

She put her hands over her ears, closed her eyes, and replied, “Please don’t ask me that question! I don’t want it to ruin my day today!” Kennedy put one of his hands behind his head. “Oh, sorry,” he said. “It’s okay,” Zircon said. “You can ask her some other time,” Astro said. “Right now, we’re just showing her around the city.” “Besides, what are you guys doing here anyway?” Alejo asked. “We’re waiting for Dr. O’shay,” Zircon said. “He’s in Central City shopping for supplies.” “What is he buying them for?” Abercrombie asked. “For Zircon, of course!” Zoran said. “Zircon is going to be a new student at school on Monday!” “That’s great!” Kennedy said, until he looks at his watch. “Oh! I almost forgot, Astro! We have Rocket Ball practice at the practice court at 3 P.M!” “Thanks for reminding me,” Astro said. “What’s Rocket Ball?” Zircon asked. “Rocket Ball holds a combination sport of football, soccer, and skating all in one,” Alejo said. “The object of the game is to get the rocket ball into the goal.” “But, you have to do it while you’re in roller blades,” Abercrombie said. “That sounds like fun!” Zircon says happily. “Even though I haven’t played before, can I at least give it a shot?” “Well,” Kennedy said. “Well, we could use another player. The team that we’re going to face also has another player joining. So, okay, you can be on our team.” Zircon smiles and jumps a little off the ground. “Oh, thank you!” she said. “We have to go, Astro,” Alejo said, pointing his thumb in the other direction. “Okay, Zircon and I will meet you guys at the practice court later,” “Okay, see you guys there!” Kennedy yelled, and Astro’s friends ran out of Central City. “Did you here what they said, Zircon?” Astro asked. “They’re actually going to let you join the rocket ball team!” Zircon smiled. “I know!” she said. “I’ll do the best I can to win!”

Chapter 9: Astro and Zircon go to Rocket Ball Practice

After half an hour has passed, Dr. O’shay appeared out of Central City, holding a bag of supplies. “Alright, you three, I have the supplies,” he said. “Zircon, did you enjoy your adventure of Central City?” Zircon smiled. “Of course, Doctor!” she said. “This is only area number one of your journey,” Astro said. “We can show you other parts of the city tomorrow.” Zircon turned her head and noticed bunch of roller coasters and the Ferris wheel from afar, and then pointed at that area. “Is that the Amusement Park?” she asked. “Of course, it is!” Zoran said. “That place is filled with rides and attractions that tons people enjoy!” “But that can wait until tomorrow,” Astro said. “Okay,” Zoran and Zircon both said. *I can’t wait until tomorrow!* she thought. *All of those rides look so cool, and I just feel like going on them now!*

Doctor looked at his watch and realized it was almost 3 P.M. “Astro,” he said. “I believe you should get going. You don’t want to miss Rocket Ball practice.” “Okay,” Astro said. “I’m also needed to bring Zircon.” “What for?” “She’s going to be a new player on our team. Besides, the other team has a new player, too.” “Alright,” Doctor said. “Go ahead, Zircon. I hope you’ll do well.” “I’ll try my best, Doctor,” she said. “Good luck, guys!” Zoran said. “Hope you win!” Doctor and Zoran waved, got into the air car, and left Central City. “I’ll carry you there,” Astro said. “No thanks,” Zircon said. Astro felt confused. “How come?” he asked. “Because I can fly, that’s why,” Zircon said. “Watch this.” Using the power from the Adrenaline Jewel, Zircon instantly floated in the air. “Wow,” Astro says amazed. “But, don’t you get tired if you used too much power from that jewel on flying?” “No,” Zircon said. “Flying is simple for me. It may look that I’m using the jewel’s power to fly, but for me, flying doesn’t seem to waste my energy.” “Okay, I understand,” Astro said, as he also started to fly in mid air. “But, let’s get to the practice court, our friends are waiting.” “Our friends?” Zircon asked. “Yeah,” Astro said. “By the looks of what they said that you can join our Rocket Ball team, I believe they’re your friends now. Besides, they also know a little about you.” “That’s sweet of you, Astro,” Zircon says smiling. Astro had nothing else to say, instead, he blushes. Astro and Zircon then continues on their way to the Rocket Ball practice court.

Chapter 10: The Bet

On their way to the practice court, Zircon noticed something swift passed her while flying, and it landed on top of the Eagle-shaped building. She looked closely at the figure, and noticed a person with black, almost spiky hair on its head, and its chin. Zircon gasped. “Zircon, are you all right?” Astro asked her. Zircon turned her head towards Astro. “I think I saw something on top of that Eagle-shaped building,” she answered. Astro and Zircon looked at the top of the building. Zircon couldn’t believe it, but the black-shaped figure disappeared! “I don’t see anything there,” Astro said, as he turned his head towards Zircon. “You must be hallucinating.” “Maybe,” Zircon said. *I thought I saw something there,* she thought. *Maybe I am hallucinating.* It was almost 3 o’ clock when Astro and Zircon got to the practice court. Astro’s friends and the other team were already there. “Astro! Zircon! Glad you guys can make it!” Alejo said, yelling from across the court. “Hey!” The captain said from the other team stepped out from the other side of the court. “What’s she doing here?” “Zircon is here to play Rocket Ball,” Kennedy said. The other player wasn’t very surprised. “Girls can’t play,” “What do you mean, Zircon can’t play?” Alejo asked. “It’s likely to know that girls never play manly sports like this!” he said while pointing at Zircon. Zircon’s feelings were hurt pretty badly.

“Hey!” Astro said, walking up to the team captain while standing in front of Zircon. “It doesn’t have to be just boys playing this sport! Girls can play too! Rocket Ball is not girl-free zone sport; it’s a team play sport!” Astro’s friends cheered, and Zircon smiled. The other team’s captain rubbed his nose and said, “#####. So, you think that girls can play this sport? You must be kidding!” “I never kid,” Astro said. “I’ll bet you’re just scared that our team can get your team, beaten by a girl!” Both teams gasped except for the other team’s captain and Astro. “I’m not afraid,” he said. “And from what you said is great, for a bet.” Both teams gasped again. “Fine!” Astro said. “If our team beats your team, you promise us that Rocket Ball is not a manly sport! Again, both teams gasped. “Okay,” The team captain said, rubbing his chin. “Not bad for a bet. But, if my team beats your team, girls will never play Rocket Ball again!” Astro started thinking about the team captain’s bet. Kennedy buts in and says, “Can I have a word with Astro?” Astro follows Kennedy to an open space of the court. “Astro, are you nuts? This is crazy! You can forget about the bet!” “I can’t chicken out now,” Astro said. “If I do, the other team’s captain is going to win by default, and he’s going to not make girls like Zircon play Rocket Ball again.” “Astro, you expect to believe a guy like him would do that to every girl who plays Rocket Ball?” Kennedy asked. “Besides, why are you doing this?” Astro turned his head towards Kennedy. “So Zircon can keep playing Rocket Ball,” he said. Kennedy mouth flew open a little when he gasped. “Listen, I believe Zircon really seems to like this sport, and she just started playing. I really don’t want her to stop playing Rocket Ball now.” “Gosh, Astro,” Kennedy said. “I never meant it that way. Alright, close the bet, if you want to, Astro, if you really want to do it for Zircon.” “Thanks a lot, Kennedy,” Astro said smiling.

Astro walked towards the other team’s captain and replied, “Okay, the bet is on, but I’m only doing this for Zircon.” Zircon was surprised from what Astro said, and then smiled. “Alright,” The team captain said. “But, to make it official, let’s shake hands on it.” The team captain stuck his hand in front of Astro. “Alright,” Astro said. “Let’s have a fair game, and let the best boy, robot, or girl, win.” Astro then shook hands with the team captain, and both partly smiled. *Excellent,* he said muttering. *And once we win, Zircon will be running home, crying like a baby.* When the team captain said that, he said it, with his fingers crossed behind his back!
