Who is Jetter Mars? It is a creation of Tezuka? :huh:

Jetter is almost like Astro ! :o !!! He flies, he haves super power !

There are many resemblances.

Yes! :) There was a thread on him: The unofficial Jetter Mars fan site. In the first post, Atoman explains why Tezuka created Jetter Mars.

Why make 2 characters almost identical!??? Tezuka missed imagination.... I think.... <_< :P

Jetter Mars est la version d'Astro des années 70. En gros, c'est parce que Tezuka avait perdu son studio de production et le magazine dans lequel il publiait les dessins animés d'Astro. Par contre, il travaillait avec d'autres studio de production. Malheureusement, il était impliqué dans une bataille judiciaire concernant l'utilisation d'Astro. C'est pour contourner ce problème que Tezuka a créé une nouvelle version d'Astro, juste assez différente pour ne pas avoir de problèmes avec les droits. Un grand nombre des personnages secondaires dans Astro apparaissaient aussi dans Jetter Mars.

I don't know exactly, but from what I understood in the other thread, it's because Tezuka lost his company and had not yet formed a new one.

Translation:

Je ne sais pas exactement, mais de ce que j'ai compris dans l'autre fil de discussion, c'est parce que Tezuka avait perdu la companie où il travaillait et n'en avait pas encore formé une nouvelle.

Did you know that Astro's Japanese name is Atom? Or Atomu, as it sounds in Japanese! ;)
