hello, friends! :) sorry, I've been off for long time, but as you guess, I've a life behind the comp and also other web things to do ;)

well.. dunno if there's already a topic about this (I've already done a search), but my question is this:

in which 2003 episodes Atlas appears, besides 6 & 7? are these other episodes available on the Net? on some FTP site?

thanks ;)

I'm still hoping for a DVD release here in Italy, but most of the people neither know what Astro Boy is ç_ç

Atlas Strikes Back and some of the last episodes between 45 and 50. I *think* that's all, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't think he is in Night Before the Revolution (45), Astro Reborn (49) and The Final Battle (50) though, but I'm not sure anymore.

There are fafner's server and Anapan's server.

My server is up and running. For some reason, it seems your computer can't access mine. Unfortunately, I don't know what's going on  Maybe you could try tomorrow...

As a side note, I highly doubt Anapan's server have the episodes featuring Atlas beside of #6 and #7 .

oh, now it opens ^^ maybe it's because I'm on a LAN, and it gets slow, sometimes...

already checked anapan's site, and yes there are only the #6 and #7

I'm having some problems with the bit torrent files <_< dunno why... I hate my computer and connection, sometimes... ç_ç

I did some checks, and it seems that my server can't be accessed from various places accross the world, maybe the DNS system is overloaded in some ways  But if you succeeded, then it's ok :D

If you are inside a LAN, you will most probably have problems. If you are using a NAT, you can have a look at the Wikipedia. If you are not using a NAT, bittorrent won't work :(

I think Italian name for him is Boy Star  <-- the link is to a thread on this forum, that itself links to a google translation of an Italian only encyclopedia that has fairly decent history of our hero's history.

I believe "Boy Star" is only the Google translation for "Astro Boy". I checked in Babelfish and "astro" is a real Italian word that means "star". The Google translator probably couldn't tell that this was something that shouldn't have been translated.

In the original Italian page, his name is "Astro Boy" throughout the text.

Edit: And the first sentence of the text says he's known as "Astro Boy" in Italy. ;) I don't know Italian but it's close enough to French to allow me to get that part!

I'm not sure I made sense in my last post... Of course jeffbert is right by saying that Astro is known as "Boy Star" in Italy, but what I meant was that the Italians didn't choose to call him that way, they just kept his English name, "Astro Boy", and it just happens that "astro" means "star" in Italian. Since "boy" isn't an Italian word, the Google translator couldn't translate it and came up with "Boy Star", which is kinda cute! :P I just meant that if we'd translate "Boy Star" in Italian, we would get something like "Ragazzo Astro", which doesn't appear to be how they call our little hero.
