Looking for Astro Vs. Atlas Episodes

I've been a fan of Astroboy since I saw the new cartoon in 1980.

Like many other fans I enjoy the story of the two robot brothers, Astro and Atlas. I purchased the 1980s Astroboy DVD set and I was a bit disappointed that there was no episode explaining young Atlas’ rise to adulthood.



I later discovered that Atlas’ story was removed from the English airing for a number of reasons.



I feel that Atlas’ story is just as touching as Astro’s, even if Atlas’ account is a little more violent and dark. Still, it adds depth to his character and to the explanation of his resurrection as an adult (not to mention why he is so attached Livian).



I only have screenshots passed to me by fellow anima junkies, but I am looking for the Astro Vs. Atlas episodes in MPEG, AVI, WMA or Quicktime mov format. Does anybody have these Japanese episodes for download?

They are in Japanese with Cantonese subtitles (no English subtitles, unfortunately, but if you want to read the story, you can read fafner's summary - I think I should bookmark this page, I keep linking to it on this forum! Good job fafner! ).

WOW!!! I don't know what happened to Anapan's server... It looks like it has been hacked! When I gave you the link yesterday, everything was normal...

Many browsers hide the username/password from URLs because usually they are secret (at least the password) One must be carefull when copy/pasting such URLs when a browser is involved

Anapan's server doesn't work for me at the moment either, but it did 2 days ago. In addition to fafner's summary, I also posted many, many pics from those episodes in the "All 1980s Astro screenshots" thread (check on page 2 of this forum). They are in the last pages, in fact they are the last episodes I posted screenshots of in that thread.
