What is your favorite episode from the 80's. I have only seen a few, but I realy liked the red cat because of the high emotion

Speeding Through the Storm has always been my favorite, where the school takes a field trip to see the D51 steam locomotive. Closely followed by The White Planet and The Greatest Robot in the World saga
Oh, and Atlas Forever, where Astro and Atlas actually work as a team.
And the Robot Vikings, because Astro disguised as a dog is hilarious.

I think Atlas Forever. It's got a really intense story, lots of action and emotion, and the crystal castle is totally awesome at the end.
Oh, and The Anti-Proton Gun. I love the whole concept and the cool technology throughout the episode, lots of interesting stuff in space, plus it's got more Atlas storyline.

It is hard to choose. It depends of the mood I'm in. Atlas Forever is a great one (and please crazy2000, don't run to watch it right away because we've said this, because you'll ruin it if you watch it before any other Atlas episodes!
).
I like The Greatest Robot in the World too, of course, and Uran's Quest is special to me.

My all time fave episode would be '
The World Of Odin'. It contains drama, mystic, a tough viking battle and a very atmospheric music score throughout the story.
Actually every 80's episode has its preferences, however my least favourite is probably '
The Snow Leopard' because of the characters' partly odd drawing style.

I would say that all episodes featuring Atlas in a major role are my favorite, but I think "Atlas forever" is the one.

The most moving scenes are definitely coming from '
Atlas Forever' (IMHO
).
Among other quotes, especially this line said by Astro has captured my heart:
"It was just a time of understanding, but now my human friends don't think of me as a robot, they think of me as 'Astro'."
