i just watched this episode and it got me thinking, how come atlas was not shown? he's stronger than all of those other robots..

Maybe because he wasn't on earth? And given how Pluto/Bruton is flying, he would have had a hard time flying into space.

When it was shown on TV, Atlas was dead by the time this episode came up so I thought that's why he wasn't in it. But he was still alive during the correct order, so I'm not sure. He probably would have thought it a trivial competition and continued working on conquering the world.

I think we're talking about the 80s series, but Atlas appeared in all of them even the 60s series.
