the 1960s version changed its opening shots to include landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower, The Statue of L, & several other locations. It also included Dr. Ochanomizu & Uranium. 
However, I do not recall which episode first featured the new video.

Wow, so ALL THREE series had that song! 
I loved that one comment that was given to the video. "OMFG!! IT'S ASTRO BOY"
I wouldn't mind getting an MP3 of that.
*Drools at the thought of having all the versions of that song (including the english versions of the 60's and 80's version) on one CD*

Ooo, I loved it! I'll put that and the others on my mp3 player later. If i can only find my USB cord...... :d oh: I also need to download Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.

That was nice, though I've just fallen in love with the second opening song for the 2003 series.

This is the music video version but the full version is just so dang funkay. Plus this is such a good music video using clips from the series (does anyone know where the clip during during the chorus is from? I'm sure it's somewhere in the US dub but it seems so much more powerful as visual imagery in this song).

I wish I knew as well...
But, everything from 3:13 to 3:52 in that music video was total insanity.
Yeah, I as well like the second opening. I actually decided to watch it immediately before I saw the final six episodes. Really made the first of the six episodes have a better impact.
Edit: Two things I forgot to mention:
1. The first few seconds... doesn't it sound an awful lot like the "Danger" music from the 80's series?
2. I think that bit with the characters talking and Astro in that black room with blue lights is new animation made just for the music video.
