yeah i think it's worth it becuase it is the 60's it's kinda rare and they don't air it any more so it would be a good buy... but it's up to you
if it was me i'd buy a modal F-14 tomcat to build

Um Yeah I was thinking more along the lines like ae they done well, is the sound ok, and are all the episodes sized right for normal sized TV screens?
Off course it's a good buy as long as those are done right.

I have the entire set in Japanese, & 1st of 2 boxed sets of the English translation of the 60s, but never heard of any colorized version. Where did you hear of it?
BTW, most of the episodes on the 1st of 2 boxed sets of the English translation of the 60s have adequate sound quality, but there is 1 episode whose sound quality is quite poor.

I found it the other day at this shop it showed the 60s Astro Boy in color and said it was completely redone in colorized it looked like a 4 disc set but it had 2 discs per case inside. But I just looked it up:

Apparently it was just episode 1 colorized or something and all of the 1980s series DOH.

This is Astroboy: The Complete Series (1980s). Be assured, there was only 1 episode in the 60s that was color:
56th Episode: Earth Defense Army
However, the English version of this (#32 The Moon Monsters) was B&W. Set #2 (yet to be released) will feature three Subtitled Eps, including this one. Whether it will be color, we must wait to see.

Way, way too many discs to Decrypt and convert or just own, or even rent.

Ooh, I happen to have set 2 sitting behind me in a parcel.

I'll open it and let you know.

Yes, it's full colour and dual audio. It's listed as #56 The Moon Monsters. I'll write a bigger review in a new thread.
